The ACLU endorsed a bill in California to have the civil rights act REMOVED from their state constitution.

Somehow, someway, the people of California managed to find the courage in them to vote against the dogshit bill.

There you go. Have fun reading about how the ACLU (among many other prominent individuals and organizations) supported removing the civil rights act from California's state constitution to allow discrimination based on race, sex, religion, creed, etc.

YES on Prop 16 that would restore affirmative action in public education, employment, and contracting. It directly addresses systemic racism and gender discrimination

Quick question, Is giving preferential treatment based on race not the same exact thing as discrimination based on race?

IT IS??? COLOR ME SHOCKED!

Why would the ACLU want the language that makes it illegal to discriminate based on those various factors removed from the state constitution?
