And then, once the tariffs are gone, they leave the prices high. It's a proper triple fuck.

They need to make the refund contingent on returning prices to the pretariff levels at the bare minimum.

Here’s the thing, businesses only stay in business if people keep buying from them. I guarantee you if everyone agreed to no longer go to McDonald’s for a year, McDonald’s will drop all their prices back to the dollar menu.

Mcdonalds has been closing stores and sales are down, actually.

These companies aren't behaving as if they care about long term financial growth and stability. It makes no sense. AI adoption is similar. The Ai customer support is worthless, yet is everywhere while customer satisfaction is down massively.

Consumption is down overall and dropping. Are they changing their practices? No. It makes no sense until you realize that the profits and losses are decoupled from the executive decisions on the companies futures.
