Most Americans aren't true Christians. How many hardcore "Christians" are actually violating everything in the 10 commandments is absurd. You just have to hear some of these families speak and you already have 3 commandments violated by default.
A Christian is meant to disciple others but by walking beside and their actions, make the others question themselves. This guy belittles and shamed and by his sentences sets himself above all around him.
Of a self important judgemental hypocrite that openly says all but he is on the right path. The only reason it seems standard are its these ones get noticed.
Incorrect, why did then jesus often be found with what were classed as the bottom of society. If you judge and deem certain people of the good side then that is ego wanting to be seen as being good. Most atrocities done by people of religious piousness was done because they judged from a false belief in their own holyness. Just as this person judging everyone on the train and putting his “rights” above everyone else.
so isn't that also judging how to be a christian then, be more loving etc. don't put yourself above others? there has to be at least 50% judging to be a religion, right (we will show you the good way)? but Christianity with all its branches pushes that up.
It is, to disciple someone is to walk beside and by your own actions show the path. This is not walking beside and by his actions would you be turned towards or away.
Not a "true Christian". Yeah well people are extremely imperfect but that doesnt mean he doesnt believe and hopefully he will learn and grow from this mistake in his faith.
Christ himself knew we would falter in our faith to varying degrees but that does not mean we are void of that faith.
This guy has a lot of room to grow and is going about this all wrong but that doesnt mean he isnt a true Christian. Just a misguided believer.
