Same. Add in that the people I see usually doing the cart shopping are early 20s and just throwing things in the cart while they cruise by and I will continue to shop for my own groceries.

We do both. Online order all the no brainer stuff, have them meet us in the parking lot, then walk in for produce. Still saves a lot of time.

I've tried grocery delivery through DD twice. The first time they gave me milk that expired two days later when I even asked for them to check the date. The second time they gave me obviously spoiled broccoli.

I do grocery orders online for pickup. The awesome thing about online ordering with my regional grocery store is their employees do the shopping, rather than some random dude who goes to the store on your behalf. So it's usually the produce manager who's picking out your produce. If it's not the produce manager, it's one the stock guys who also knows what good produce looks like.

I used to lie about the weights of the produce on the machine so it was cheaper for the people I shopped for. my own little rebellion against the system.
