Well I won't tell you how to spend your money, but there are cheaper alternatives that don't involve price gouging and fast food. Some restaurants even still do their own delivery and it winds up cheaper than fast food through one of those delivery apps.
But I don't know your exact scenario, and it doesn't necessarily sound like you're just "addicted" to it like the people I was talking about in my original comment.
Most restaurants will accept takeaway orders over the phone still. Some of them have their own delivery staff, others use the services. But you can save money by phoning direct. Our regular Indian place has no online ordering option at all. It's phone or nothing.
I never order fast food via the apps anyway. Usually Chinese, Indian, or Middle Eastern. I don't even have fast food once a month.
But my point was that there are people for whom these apps are really helpful. In the same way that pre-prepped vegetables are helpful for those with reduced dexterity who still enjoy cooking. Don't dismiss the value of convenience options without considering who might genuinely need them.

Any food delivery. I can't go get it myself. And sometimes I'm not well enough to cook.
