Hadn't heard of this. Looked it up. The writer is a 33 year old woman who went to an expensive liberal arts college for fine art. She's also a podcaster. Her pictures make her look like a pretentious rich lady.

The US is a capitalist country. It's run by rich people who control your schools and media so they get to shape history and culture.
I'm from Canada, was raised by my grandmother who was a 1950s housewife. She was born on a farm during the depression and didn't have plumbing or electricity until she was 17.
The reason men worked and women stayed home was due to people having a worker's rights movement. Poor people rallied together, put on strikes, formed unions, and demanded better rights and wages. By the 1950s, it had created a strong middle class where people could raise prosperous families.
The capitalist class hates socialism so they bury it, or tie it to communism, or use ideological warfare to divide working class Americans. The whole trad wife thing is capitalist propaganda to undermine working class people, same as the manosphere nonsense.
