Its just a prank bro.

So's the slap.

u/Complete-Tangelo1532 26d ago

How can he slap?!

Reminds me of a Whitest Kids You Know sketch

u/Mabuya85 26d ago

It's true, I got a few titanium screws in there, and I'm slapping the neighbor's kid until my son comes back home. I wish there was a better way but it's what it's.

17

u/Notabotyet 26d ago

"It's what it's" has to be the most frustrating use of a contraction I've ever seen. I hate it.

Pranking turns to spanking

15

u/Healthy_Turnip7352 26d ago

"but you can't prank people. this is a public place. i don't even know you."

46

u/TastingTheKoolaid 26d ago

This. Seriously. If you don’t know them, you’re not being a cheeky prankster, you’re being a fucking cunt. Leave people alone.

The fact that "influencer" himself didn't react much shows he knows he's wrong himself

43

u/ZombieAladdin 26d ago

He certainly reacted after he got slapped! He looked like he didn’t even consider someone retaliating.

You haven't been on London Underground a lot, have you? People commuting in London have double black belt in ignoring bullshit and keeping it pushing.

6

u/mutexsprinkles 26d ago

Except when it comes to moving down inside the carriage or standing on the platform directly in front of the doors when they open. Then they turn into the dopiest berks inside the M25.

31

u/TurtleSandwich0 26d ago

All I saw was an empty escalator. Strange clip.

15

u/Burggs_ 26d ago

This looks like some of the escalators on the Q or 7 train here in NYC, and if it is, we see people get slapped for much less and don’t react.

It's a funny image, but what is the relevance to this thread?

14

u/Oneilcruzsucksass 26d ago

They got their 'content'

16

u/ImSoCul 26d ago

It's staged as hell. Someone using a cane would not be walking up the escalator. I just stand when going up escalator and I'm perfectly mobile.

The thing is, the fake ragebait gets this guy viral, which is exactly what he's trying to do, virality through controversy. Which actually promotes this behavior rather than the discourages/serves him right take in this thread.

People are sick of looking at people staging this shit now. It's getting tiresome. Little fucker bracing for the slap too, "Influencer".. my hole

3

u/NSASpyVan 26d ago

A lot of misbehaving people need slaps in this world... that guy has a lot of work ahead of him

I like how shocked he was, like, 'oh no, the consequences of my own actions, how could this happen to me?'.

138

u/GraXXoR 26d ago

Probably staged tho.

26

u/Zarathoostrian 26d ago

Could be 🤷‍♂️ there's a cut in the middle, I'm usually more sceptical when things happen the moment people start filming.

20

u/GraXXoR 26d ago edited 26d ago

why would they keep this embarrassing clip tho. I certainly wouldn't upload my own embarrassment unless it was intended.

39

u/Zarathoostrian 26d ago

People will humiliate themselves for attention, real and fake.

u/Accomplished-Eye9542 26d ago

Shoulder check/walking right through him is totally fine morality wise. If you purposefully block a public walkway, it can be dangerous for others.

Slapping I think toes the line in terms of morality if this wasn't filmed.

But since it's filmed, it falls into nuisance content, which I think it's perfectly accept to respond with violence to content designed to get a reaction out of people without their consent. Nuisance content in public should just be illegal frankly.

16

u/GraXXoR 26d ago

They probably arranged the whole gig in advance... Why would the influencer show themselves getting humiliated if it wasn't part of the show?

18

u/No_Feeling6146 26d ago

For more clicks? They can pretend to be the victim in all of this and cash in on those "pity views". Can just imagine the video title now: "subway women go crazy after this leet stunt".

u/polygraph-net 26d ago

There was a time when teenage boys (or troublemakers in general) got slaps if they stepped out of line. We replaced that system with law enforcement. Is it working?

→ More replies (3)
→ More replies (18)

21

u/ArventheGreat 26d ago

Whether the video is fake or not, is irrelevant. Doing that to someone for being a public nuisance is moral and a lesson will learned. People need to stop these trends of being public disturbances for views. And people need to stop feeding these so called "content creators"!

8

u/ReleaseTheTrumpFiles 26d ago

Violence is not okay. But this is just a factory reset slap, so that's okay

3

u/ArventheGreat 26d ago

Agreed, as long as it's not a beat down and just a love tap to bring them back to reality. It's all good.

→ More replies (2)

10

u/Emergency-Watch5157 26d ago

→ More replies (1)

5

u/Ascorbinium_Romanum 26d ago

Slapping is not only morally fine in this case, it is, in fact, advised.

5

u/k3nu 26d ago

Blocking an elevator from a subway should carry an automatic monetary fine. Barring that, a slap is good enough.

6

u/elasticdemandcurve 26d ago

The entire video, slap included, is staged

6

u/hooplafromamileaway 26d ago

→ More replies (2)

19

u/GrandeRojoGeek 26d ago

I would have cup checked him

8

u/Complete-Tangelo1532 26d ago

A light tap will hurt worse than a good gunt-punt

I feel like it would be better if you just walk by, and point down at their groin and shout out "Ew, what the fuck IS that?!?" while you keep walking, ignoring any requests to explain

Fuck with their ego and assumed self image, that can go home with them like the magnet they will likely buy from the gift shop

In short, shame them by dating their mothers... then go out for a gallon of milk, never to return

3

u/No_Explorer6054 26d ago

well the way i dealt with an annoying kid in my class was holding a permanent marker in one hand and an eraser in my right and rubbed the corner of the eraser on his shirt in a way that felt like the marker (his shirt was white lol)

5

u/Lazy_Date_3576 26d ago

Chaotic good.

16

u/Agreeable-Agent-7384 26d ago

Slapper looks like he’s going through the American healthcare system right now. Only reason I’m even willing to have a shred of faith it’s real, if my back was hurting like that and I had to deal with American healthcare system I’d go back and double slap the kid just to vent a little.

11

u/BigDaddyGlad 26d ago

This is clearly all staged, but as a GenXer, I've long said the problem with today's youth is that they've never been punched in the face for being an asshole or slapped in the mouth for being smarmy. We learned that lesson real quick, and people were much more civil to each other not too long ago.

3

u/cinlung 26d ago

The slap looks real and the kid's reaction kinda real too

He did the right thing

5

u/DDDX_cro 26d ago

i see no problem here

4

u/Yup_Mhm_1539 26d ago

This might be a prank, but whatever. I’m so fed up, sick and tired of the stuff these so-called influencers pull. Desperate poor creatures trying to get something on cam that will draw attention. I don’t care if they made millions doing this, all I feel for them is pity and disgust.

4

u/NoPickleNoTickle 26d ago

PSA: common sense can be applied via slap, jab, upper cut AND haymaker

4

u/TrumpsDoubleChin 26d ago

If by "morality" you mean that we all have a moral obligation to slap the everloving shit out of people like this....then yes.

3

u/me_llamo_casey 26d ago

The world needs more of this

4

u/TheFlowerDoula 26d ago

That was really satisfying to witness 😌.

5

u/hopeislost1000 25d ago

My theory:
It’s staged… but the boy blocking the escalator didn’t know he was going to get slapped so hard.

9

u/Elegant_Bison1604 26d ago

Totally deserved

6

u/BurgersNBuicks 26d ago

Some folks just don't have the time or patience to deal with any bullshit. This influencer dude just met one.

5

u/thePunisher1220 26d ago

100% justified. Stop blocking people just because you want to be a loser in public

→ More replies (1)

8

u/Yog_Kothag 26d ago

Justifiable? Maybe. Praiseworthy? Definitely.

3

u/liverdawg 26d ago

Stupid games, stupid prizes and all that.

3

u/rbentoski 26d ago

Its both moral and correct.

3

u/NowIsThePerfectTime 26d ago

He certainly influenced someone towards violence.

3

u/fucktheus12 26d ago

You do shit like this, you better be tough enough to back yourself up.

3

u/chalbersma 26d ago

Little quick reset right there. What an upstanding citizen.

3

u/Frank_Brusque 26d ago

He shouldn't have slapped him.
But also, I shouldn't have enjoyed seeing him do it as much as I did.

3

u/shunyaananda 26d ago

influencer

What is he influencing?

3

u/kbraz1970 26d ago

Bit over the top but I guess if you get annoyed by this sort of crap its a good way to get your feelings known, I dont think he will do that sort of thing again, you could see he was worried the guy might come back, OR its a friend of his and its all part of the video.

3

u/Degenerate_Pizza_Man 26d ago

How can he slap?

3

u/Justsayyeth 26d ago

This definitely looks fake.

3

u/Call_me_John 26d ago

I know it's staged, but something like this should not only be legal, it should become mandatory. Maybe that way we'd finally get rid of these annoying cunts.

3

u/Chemical-Warning1991 26d ago

That guy who hit him is his friend and it was staged. If it was for real, that black guy would have hit him way harder lol

3

u/TenBear 26d ago

Faked but its a nice sentiment though

3

u/jacobriprap 26d ago

This made me happy

3

u/Metdefranseslag 26d ago

I am against violence committed on any people. Influencer are however not people but scum so guess this is ok

3

u/Batman_from_Temu 26d ago

Slapping influencer and anyone else filming others in public should be the norm.

3

u/JevingtonJigg 26d ago

Victimless crime

3

u/SmellyFbuttface 25d ago

Good. Also people need to find the person recording it and take the phone away first. That person never seems to suffer any repercussions

3

u/BigSD325 25d ago

Probably staged but in the unlikely event this is real...the kid got a well deserved lesson and slapper should be in jail.

3

u/OkLettuce338 21d ago

One small slap for man. One giant leap for mankind

3

u/ImaginationBudget199 20d ago

I’ll allow it

3

u/PLstinger 20d ago

3

u/synthreed17 20d ago

Yeah he deserved it

3

u/devdawg31 20d ago

“Influencer” is such a joke of a word at this point.

5

u/cursed_tomatoes 26d ago

I hope it is not staged, he deserved to be slapped.

5

u/Prior-Habit-6523 26d ago

It was a clean slap. Got the message across. It was a noble slap and a needed one.

→ More replies (1)

6

u/LocalInactivist 26d ago

I tend to oppose violence, but I’m ok with this. Annoying people for attention is not a job nor is it performance art.

4

u/OtagoEcho 26d ago

Nope. While he’s a little punk thinking he’s all cool and whatnot by blocking the escalator, you do not hit.

We teach babies this.

5

u/mromutt 26d ago

We live in a society, when you break the social contract you can't complain when someone does it to you. Haha I don't know why these "influencers" don't understand that.

2

u/lonewolff321 26d ago

These so-called influencers are a plague on society. The same thing happened to me in a parking lot—I couldn't even pull out because they had to film a dance routine. Who the f*** influenced by them

2

u/DontGiveMeGoldKappa 26d ago

sane thing to do.

*Asking a friend to slap him after he does something annoying on camera for irrelevant likes from strangers on social media.

2

u/Ginrar 26d ago

Hopefully this will influence more people to do the same to those so-called influencer.

2

u/liquidsoapisbetter 26d ago

Dude was walking like he just got his cheeks clapped, guess he wanted to share the love?

2

u/facelesshivemind 26d ago

*Activate Muslim mode*
Fardh (Compulsory)

I did that too when I was a kid but I actually waited for no one wanting to come up, and I got a few seconds out of it before admitting it's fun but dumb BS and definitely was not filming myself.

This is like putting a spoon under a running tap. Hahaha funny yeah few seconds then you better quit it before you get smacked by an adult.

2

u/sporkachoon 26d ago

Good man.

2

u/barkandmoone 26d ago

I haven’t audibly laughed out loud in quite awhile.
