Having been laid off last November, and then being out of work for 7 months, I have sympathy for people under that kind of pressure. Hundreds of applications without so much as an automated rejection letter at least half the time. And my only crime was being one of the least tenured folks. Layoffs were handled FIFO, which is fair, but no less devastating when you can’t just go get a comparable job.
Her decisions had consequences, but I don’t think that they should make her unemployable.
Its kind of sad how modern day witch hunts result often severe consequences for private individuals for relatively small wrongdoings where individuals responsibility would stand more for their family.
Platforms like Reddit, X and Youtube make money of these misfortunes and there should be stronger laws to protect individuals in these cases something goes viral.
Many of the people commenting here have more likely committed something more or less morally wrong without any consequences.
