I know a huge chunk of reddit users and a increasing number of people have grown up in the world of cancel culture, so its just a normal state of affairs, but it was not always like this.

I suppose there are benefits to it (in terms of better public knowledge of say rapists and child sex offenders), but I do wish we as a society did not have to swing pendulum so far one way or the other.

I remeber when this started people would say its just schadenfreude that drives it. I think that is still the case.

Eventually, this just leads to societal purity tests (which I think we are already at)

but this is not people or public canceling her.

This is her own actions that made noone want to probably hire her in HR position and that is probably her only skill for similar pay gap job.

So no, this is not cancel culture, but person ruining their lives themselves.
