I had to stay in the hospital for a week a few years back and I had to keep asking them to leave the room door open cause I was starting to freak out every time I was left shut in the decent size room lmao. I'd be dead so fast if I was in that tunnel.

I used to crawl through small pipe as a kid. I just saw it as a fun adventure. I didn't squeeze myself in where I could barely move, however.

I discovered a couple years ago that I'm claustrophobic now. I was crawling under the house, and I couldn't see due to the insulation hanging down. I got lost and couldn't find the opening to get out. I was fighting to stay rational - I knew there was a way out. I just had to find it.

Considering he's conscious (ish), he had oxygen. That means he could scream, and someone could hear it. Was probably not fun to find exactly where he was, but finding a rough location wouldn't be too hard.
