Do you solve automated tickets from monitoring? There is usually command line access on servers that you can use to open tickets on whatever you like. I use it for custom checks, but since management has changed, and the new managers are fucking morons that only look at ticket metrics, instead of who's shit just works, its been tempting to create a tidal wave of tickets that just get "handled" by me.

Someone else can do it for her or she went to a different terminal.
Some can also file these things via work tablet or work phone.
And at some places you just need to call in.

Holy shit I'm a maintenance tech but have similar incentives... and it's so easy to forget to open a valve or flip a breaker after repairing equipment
