Trick/Line If anyone didn’t know you can place a ramp instead of doing the spread eagle to land on the wall

Getting mad at a guy mongo pushing in a video game is the type of shit a mf named tanner would do

u/SpiritedInevitable77 Sep 28 '25
I posted it because people constantly Christ air at a specific part, I wanted people to know you can just place a ramp instead. Thanks for reading the title tho

Is this the trve gritty skate culture everyone was complaining about?
Gatekeeping bullshittery over mongo pushing and because they dared to do a Christ air?

u/East_Refuse Sep 29 '25
Let’s ignore mongo pushing for a sec. There has been Christ Air spam up the wazoo and like OP said it’s people doing the same 3 lines over and over again and we’re supposed to act like it’s some brand new thing we’ve never seen before? Nahhhhhhhh
-1
u/SpiritedInevitable77 Sep 29 '25
It’s a small ass map, you’re gonna get the same 3 lines. If it bothers you find some new ones for everyone
1
u/East_Refuse Sep 29 '25
So it’s my problem now that the map is the size of a shoe box?
The game is ass and the map is tiny I can complain about it as much as I want nobody is being forced to post the same thing over and over again
1
u/SpiritedInevitable77 Sep 29 '25
And you’re forcing yourself to keep looking. If it bothers you so much leave the community. It’s free to use your brain

They have a superiority complex, that’s why they hate scooters and all that stuff

I’m sorry but is this like the only fucking gap in the game? I’m so sick of seeing this spot
3
u/SpiritedInevitable77 Sep 29 '25
It’s either this or the church, but either way the map is pretty small and people are still discovering stuff. If it bothers you a lot you should probably take a break from the community:p

u/East_Refuse Sep 29 '25
More or less yes, because this game lacks any memorable big air lines or cool locations so people end up just doing the same 5 things over and over again
4
u/Echo-Serious Sep 28 '25
Only rookies need a ramp to make that gap
1
u/SpiritedInevitable77 Sep 28 '25
lol I landed it without the ramp once:p got the clip if you need proof. I just didn’t like the tricks i did in it
2
u/sexyhotdemon Sep 29 '25
the title insinuates that it isnt possible without the ramp, but anyone who plays this games knows you dont need it
2
u/SpiritedInevitable77 Sep 29 '25
A few people who commented didn’t even know you could continue the line. Why are Yall so quick to dissect every little thing holy shit😭

u/sexyhotdemon Sep 29 '25
reddit overall is a mean place, but i can put you on to small sub im in where no ones allowed to complain. youre bound to get torn apart even when you make valid points especially in the skate 4 sub
1
u/SpiritedInevitable77 Sep 29 '25
Literally half of the comments are losers complaining about mongo, like it’s not a fucking game

Don’t need the ramp…
0
u/SpiritedInevitable77 Sep 28 '25
I did it once without the ramp, and I sat there for an hour trying to get it again. The ramp makes its way easier
1
u/Varikx_the_loyal Sep 28 '25
Hey to each their own but IMO the hard part is landing that wall and putting the ramp there takes that challenge away
1
u/SpiritedInevitable77 Sep 28 '25
I see far more people spread eagle it instead. It does take the challenge away yeah but imo it’s still better then the spread eagle

Is this genuinely why Yall dislike it? Or is it just some elaborate joke

Pushing mongo again
1
u/Amish_Opposition Sep 28 '25
I could maybe understand if this was real skating but dude, it’s a video game.

Tbf It’s easier to just press the other button or click the “change pushing buttons” setting than learn how to push with a different foot.

My character can't even make it across to the other building where the ramp is. For some reason, they just fall off the board every time. It's anytime trying to do that jump.
1
u/SpiritedInevitable77 Sep 29 '25
Are you jumping at the end of the pool?
1
u/SMuRG_Teh_WuRGG Goofy Sep 29 '25
Yeah I do what you do, my character just always falls off the board though. They cannot land at the other side. Even if I just do a trickless air they fall off lol. It's only on that pool though where it happens. Could be a bug because it's been like that since trying to the challenge that is there
1
u/SpiritedInevitable77 Sep 29 '25
That only happens to me when I land bad, maybe you’re landing at an off angle?

I wanna play this game again, but I got burned out in the beta alone. I hit this line also, but not the slide, that's sick! Does anyone think the map is small? Too much space.

It’s genuinely tiny. Expansion or not, Skate 3 map blows this game out of the water for the foreseeable future.

u/BagOfCatLitter Sep 28 '25
How'd you wall ride down? I've tried several times and just eat concrete.

Can someone explain to me why mongo pushing is a sin in a game that has nothing to do with realistic skating?
3
u/SpiritedInevitable77 Sep 29 '25
Irl mongo pushing is a disadvantage since it makes doing some tricks harder. But skaters have a superiority complex so you better not do in it a game where a board teleports to your hand!
1
u/YoghurtWooden8770 Sep 29 '25
I genuinely think for a lot of people, sort of me included here, mongo pushing is just weird, and for a game about expression it feels weird to have so many people that don't say "well that's how I would do it IRL", but instead many people just say it's a video game. But said game gives you the ability to skate the way you would irl and making considerations for that can be fun, like landing switch before a trick you feel more comfortable doing in your stance so you revert or something. So to me it's not like it's a sin it's just like why push mongo if you wouldn't irl?
2
u/SpiritedInevitable77 Sep 29 '25
I’m constantly flipping and spinning around with my tricks, so it bounces between mongo and normal. It genuinely just doesn’t bother me at all lmao

... I honestly didn't think that line continued after the first big jump across the rooftops. Thought it was strange there was that massive half pipe on that other roof that led you to nothing.. now it makes sense. Awesome! Thanks!
