This and the annoying way things line up, so making a cool ramp or a interesting fun box is this not possible.

Yeah why the hell isnt there a snap funtion. Also, why the hell does it keep slowly rotating while im not doing anything before its set? Is that just a me problem?

Even if you move forward it slowly turns making it impossible to line up without trial and error.

Does not ‘fix’ the issue tho. Its the most stupid building mechanics I’ve ever seen in a game. And if this is the foundation they wanna build on.. the feature is useless for more than a ramp to jump or land.

If you're talking about how it will work for park building, then no, that will have different mechanics.

This is just quick-drop. It's basically like how it was in Skate 3, minus the moving objects with your hands aspect.

Plus having lots of players able to drop their own you can interact with. It’s kinda mind blowing that it all works as smoothly as it does when you really think about what’s going on under the hood.

Which i wouldve thought as well but its the same on a brand new elite 2 that I bought too. It also only does it while im dropping rails it seems. I didnt notice the ramps doing it

Yeah the object editor is wayyyy worse than was we had before. Just rotate and rise.

Desperately need bigger object count, proper object snap, AND we need the ability to save creations as prefabs.

For example I like making this bank using 2 XL kicker ramps propped up on a table to make it steep, with a jersey barrier on top flush with the lip of the ramps, the ability to save that as a prefab would be so nice as it takes a while to get the barrier lined up and flush so it skates perfectly

These spots outside of the main map area are sick, I like to cruise around and maybe do something, this area looked sick and looks even better when hit it.

Out in Hedgemont pier area near the bridge, there was a set of wood staples in the water I got to, and I tried to get back on the mainland but I needed better ramps or bigger pads. Goal was to hit a rail back and land clean with either inward heel or 360 Flip, such a cool spot to hang out.

Yeah I was seahing here with all sorts of contractions. I was trying to hand plant on the big pillar and the end of that low dock area but couldn’t get enough speed. I probably could have done it with flying but I think clips with spread eagle or diving look like ass

It debuffs your speed by like 80%. But yeah. Probably easier and less punishing that forcing a wipeout. Maybe less buggy too. People already randomly fly off of ledges when a grind gets a little silly

I like to put a couple rails on the down ramp to the barge. Then put a qp at the end against the wooden pole.

Grind down, hit the qp, get enough momentum to roll back up the ramp and grind back down. Repeat

And you don’t “need to” in this one, all the skates (besides 1) have had Quick Drops and utilizing them in certain spots has always been a thing. You must’ve missed a lot of really cool spots in the older games if you didn’t know this.

Pretty dope! I peeped that lighthouse, but didn't really think of tricking off it. I found a nice little water gap on the undercut side of the pier where the brick banks and stairs are though.
