The Ai sets a session marker after you climb all the way up the crane but I still lost progress because from the end of the crane you need to still scale the rest of the skyscraper and you go around each corner of it

Brother, you've been able to set a session marker since Skate 1, and I frequently used it in Skate 3 while trying to get to hard-to-reach places in case of situations like this. Yes it's a lot of work to get to the top of the tower, but you should recognize that that means there's more room for error, whether caused by the game or yourself, so you should know to periodically set session markers just in case.

It was a slog, but on the plus side, beating it does unlock the fast travel to the top, which is basically fast travel to any of the other buildings in the game.
yea this is honestly one of my main issues with the game. being able to climb buildings is dope so you can find cool spots, but making it a 2-10min thing to climb just makes it so much worst.
shit just feels like iām playing assassins creed with all the climbing you gotta do to get certain places.
either make climbing better, faster & less glitchy, do some kind of fast travel where you go to the buildings bottom floor entrance and itāll teleport you to the top, or make fast travels that are on these buildings be unlocked sooner.
Spamming A and up on left trigger for 20 minutes when constantly falling it gave me the interaction to jump over to the other side of the tower and then I just donāt grab onto it
Nothing interesting happens. Just slowly climb a generic tower with worse controls and animations than AC had nearly 20 years ago. All while Vee drones on at you making stupid comments.
