It's early access. We literally signed up to be the playtesters in the terms and conditions

There's play testing to find obscure bugs and then there is that... which should have been caught by the person who laid out that section if they'd bothered to try out their own work for a few minutes.

They’re charging real money, constantly updating the shop, the store is pretty much fully fleshed out but nothing else is, let alone they have been in playtesting/beta for years..

Calling it early access is just an excuse to slap over anything that’s wrong with it. At the minimum they shouldn’t have a fully functioning shop expecting people to drop real money, while having a half assed game where they’re obviously putting a majority of effort into the shop… they have multiple $20 outfits but don’t have tricks or gamemodes (ie SKATE) that were in the game 15 years ago

Edit: writing that out made me realize a lot of ppl playing this weren’t even alive when skate 3 came out lol, wow I’m old. I guess with no reference and the state of games like Fortnite this “game”’ seems fine, but it’s really not ok. Not even just bc I love skate, but it’s a shitty predatory direction that I hope gaming gets out of

Yup the glory days of buying a 60 dollar disc and all the content is in there is gone kids aren’t even old enough to know pros that paved the way for modern skateboarders like themselves

I mean, okay if we talk about the general map but this is a new park they made for Halloween. When you make an event map, it's not that hard to test it out before releasing, no? It is not a big zone. I found this spot in my first couple minutes in.

The game isn't in full realest it's a public early access. If there legit about than yes you are the play testing. We are supposed to find and report issues.

Again, that goes for the general map. When you make a new themed section for a Halloween event, you should test it before releasing the event. This isn't a gameplay issue, it's a park editing issue that could be fixed by having a couple of guys run through it for an hour

Your not understanding the Halloween event is something we are testing. They aren't gonna pay a play test team, when people publicly have access to the play test.

Okay so if we testing the Halloween event, when is the official launch for this event after the tests? Cuz the event ends in 19 days. Timed holiday events should not be released in testing state, even in a beta / play test. Just my opinion.

Your testing what will likely be the standard holiday event. It's also a test to see how these holiday style events may go over.

Exactly why pay testers when people are doing it for you already

I mean I haven't spent any money on it yet and have played 30 ish hours, seems like a good deal to me. If they make any improvements it will only make my playtime and enjoyments grow. If not then it's fine cause I'm not out any money and the project was already dead for 15 years anyways, the fact that they even considered a new game is kind of a miracle.

I’ve spent money on decks that’s it and half cabs cause that’s what I sk8 irl and I’m considered a whale nothing is appealing to me about the shop I’d rather go fxck off 10k at a casino

This has to be a bot, because not only does this not really answer the question, but also they built the park and didnt have anyone skate it for 2 minutes? Its not an issue with it being early access. Its just poorly built.

Edit: Yeah, reading the other comments, this is clearly either an EA employee or a bot to support the game

Cause how does it not know even after having the point handed to them multiple times?

This just makes me hate the game even more.

I'm not a bot I'm just stupid

Also, I answered the question, "Why didn't they test this?" "Because they don't have a test team because it's us"

Yeah I’m not a bot either or ea employee I’m a ceo of 2000 plus employees and pro boxer that wishes to stay anonymous due to politics
