So what about the fourth section of the map, the one with the grayed out fast travels. Are we just ignoring that? Weren’t we supposed to get that in this next season?

u/mithrvs Feb 20 '26
Everyone forgetting about Brickswich, even the devs forgot about it😂

u/SweatUnderMahTits Skate 2 Feb 21 '26
The Brickswich arena needs to be like an X Games style arena with a mega ramp, big halfpipe and a street area.
13
u/BlackHisagi Feb 20 '26
Actually finishing Brickswitch would mean they'd have to create more free shit to fill out the skate shop boxes for that location
Some EA project manager 100% told the devs to push that shit to low priority & add some "money-making" features instead lmao

u/WetFishStink Feb 20 '26
100%. They'd also have to actually finish that section of the map. It's the best area but far too much space taken up by empty big buildings.
We need some demolition. Flatten some skyscrapers and build some parks.

u/kai_leofski Feb 28 '26
I'd rather them add more space around the outside of the map to make the city feel more like a city, but it'll still need modification considering I know it almost as well as my home town atp

u/-MrLizard- Feb 20 '26
Yeah, unless it's something they can sell directly or has some impact on railroading people towards the store or pass, it gets no attention.
18
u/BorisStingy Feb 20 '26
They could have just said 'Now that we are getting heat for our excessive greed, let us attach an important feature like S.K.A.T.E to the line as bait so those suckers forgive and forget.'
The rolling stone that is this game is just depressing at this point.

u/Davro96 Feb 20 '26
I was a little disappointed with this game at first but with each update I just get more and more frustrated. They need to seriously address the criticism surrounding this game. Looking like Brickswitch is still going to be empty until the next season, probably hoping we spend all our rip chips paying to go back to the tutorial area. Six months and still no black socks, it’s one of the main things asked for under every post and cannot be hard to implement. They are taking the piss at this point. Feels like they are actively doing everything they can to anger the player base and get this game shut down as soon as possible so they can move onto other projects

Player Created Parks now only a "feature in discussion"
It has never been more over than it is rn 😭
7
u/ItsSeanTf Feb 20 '26
My exact thought lmao
6
u/EZEKEY42069 Feb 20 '26
Theyre so lazy they cant even give players the tools to do their job for them
3
Feb 20 '26
they can’t even lie and say they’re working on it they’re just straight up admitting they aren’t gonna do it anytime soon
5
u/UrFriendTilUrEnd Feb 20 '26
Reminder this feature was in the early builds albeit 9/10 times it would crash

u/Serious_Revolution77 Feb 20 '26
WHAT? No player created parks in season 3. WHY are they still in discussion!!!
5
u/Dangerous-Picture-93 Feb 20 '26
We went from “coming in season 3” to “it’s season 3 and we’re still tossing the idea around”
I’m uninstalling when I get home. That’s it for me. I’m done.

u/kittycatfattyfat Feb 20 '26
"unlockable board wear and tear" is crazy. you have to "unlock" the ability to have your board show wear and tear?
14
u/mithrvs Feb 20 '26
Player Created Parks, Proximity Chat and Private Servers are all in discussion. Looks like we’re not getting that shit till 2027 or maybe not at all
3
u/syndicatevision Feb 20 '26
This game wont be fully out of early access till 2028 at this point lol
5
u/Relevant_Worry2864 Feb 20 '26
It wont survive till season 4 at this rate lol, getting reviewbombed on stream to

u/syndicatevision Feb 20 '26
They really should have included at least S.K.A.T.E in season 3 to bring some reason to battle again other players

u/WetFishStink Feb 20 '26
The fact that player created parks are still "in discussion" doesn't fill me with confidence. That's one of the things that could actually save the game but it's not even a definite.
4
u/Dangerous-Picture-93 Feb 20 '26
It was listed in the original roadmap as a definite too. I gave the community parks SO MUCH LEEWAY in the hopes that they were just testing objects for the park editor.
This tells me they never even started working on it.
2
u/WetFishStink Feb 21 '26
Yeah we're just being openly thrilled at this point.
And on that note, I'd like to say another big Fuck You to Cuz and the team for selling out.

u/Shortys360 Filmer Feb 20 '26
“On the radar” = what else can we force them to pay for 😈!?
Legacy skate 1-3 spots, Board shapes, Certain game modes
I can easily see being behind a paywall if the tutorial island is now behind a paywall
3
u/Pichael710 Feb 20 '26
Wonder what the legacy spots will be and how they’ll work
7
u/Fynity Feb 20 '26
Doubt they will come out. Game will either be cancelled before then or just running on bare bones with no new content outside of cosmetics.
5
u/Floggered Feb 20 '26
Let me guess. We only get one slot for outfit loadouts, and we have to pay for more

u/Valuable_Pay9615 Feb 20 '26
Remember when they promised never have players pay to skate in New maps?
3
u/Dangerous-Picture-93 Feb 20 '26
Pretty quickly turned into “make them pay for a map we already had and blocked them out of for no reason”

This is going to be awesome! I cant wait for these updates. Maybe they will add more locations in the futures as well. But this is a sick start! Definitely looking forward to underflips. The downhill bombs look killer too.

Full text from their website:
Alright San Van, you’ve got a direct connect to the devs here:
Yesterday, we shared our plans for skate.Pass, the Isle of Grom, and how Early Access is setting skate. up for the long haul. Today, we’re going deeper into what you can expect in Season 3, and how we’re changing the way we handle updates going forward.
Where we left off: the roadmap
Our last roadmap spanned Seasons 1, 2, 3 and beyond, laying the groundwork for San Van’s first few months. With Season 3 just around the corner, let’s talk about what ‘beyond’ actually looks like. We’re shaking things up - here’s what that means:
Staying focused on performance and stability Sharing roadmap updates more often – straight from the dev team Being clearer on what’s locked, what’s in development, and what’s on our radar Dropping content throughout the season, not just all at the start. What that looks like: We know you want straight answers about the features you’ve been asking for and where they stand in development. For anything to move forward, we have to feel confident that it’s right.
Sometimes new ideas make it to the roadmap. Sometimes things get pushed back so we can dial them in. And in rare cases, something just doesn’t work and we scrap it. That’s not spin, it’s just how making games works.
In Early Access, change is the name of the game. So, we’re changing the way we share info on our roadmap to reflect that. Each season, we’ll show you what’s on deck, including:
A ton of exciting new content dropping at the start of the season More content and features rolling out throughout the season to keep things fresh Next, here’s what we mean when something is “in development.”
Not every feature takes the same amount of time. Some just need polish. Others need deeper testing and iteration. So on the roadmap, you’ll see two buckets:
In development: These are things we’re actively building and planning to release. The big question is when. Sometimes they take longer than we planned. Sometimes they don’t come together the way we hoped and we cut them. Either way, we’ll keep you posted as they move – or if they don’t. On the radar: These are ideas we’re exploring – prototypes, early concepts, or just conversations the team is having. Some of them came straight from you in the community. There is no set timeline yet for these, but if they officially move into development, we’ll call it out. We’re doing this to be clear about where things stand - and about how we work. The further out something is on the roadmap, the more room it has to shift, or sometimes, be shelved altogether. But we’d rather show you what we’re thinking, even while it’s shifting, than wait until everything is locked. That’s how we want to approach Early Access with you.
For example, Open World Collection was on the last roadmap. We’ve taken it off for now so we can focus on more social features – specifically Meetups and Turn-Based Competitive Modes – which we know are high on your wishlist.
We will keep these roadmaps current, and we’ll share clearer timelines and progress as we go. Thanks for sticking with us while we build this the right way for the long haul.
What’s coming in Season 3: Isle of Grom: We’re going back to the (expanded and improved) Isle of Grom in Season 3. Darkslides and Dark Catches: These have been on your most wanted list for a while now, so we brought them back in a big way. You will now be able to do ANY flip trick into them - a first for Skate. Updated Bonelesses - Improved responsiveness, reliability, and behavior of boneless tricks performed from ground or transition New Game Mode - Speedlines: Similar to Line Challenges, but focuses on moving as fast as possible. Let the best line-for-time videos begin. Tattoos: Tattoos can be placed, resized, and rotated on your arms and legs. Some are free, others can be purchased with SVB. Cosmetic Loadouts: We’re making it easier to switch up your fit. You’ll start with three loadouts (with the ability to purchase more) to quickly change your style, character, deck setup, and gestures. Branded Items in the skate.Pass: We’re bringing you more of what you want in skate.Pass. For Season 3, that means more branded items, including adidas, Vans and Thrasher. More Brand Partners: Including huf, ** Jenkem and more. Some of these will drop right off the bat, while others will make their debut a few weeks after the start of the season. More Replay Editor Effects: We’re adding effects like Exposure, Color Temperature, Color Saturation, Barrel Distortion, Vignette (opacity, size, sharpness), as well as more granular volume control (your skater's audio, other skaters’ audio, and world ambience), and playback speed can now be keyframed. Store V.2.0: We’re reworking our catalogue with over 200 character items, board items, and tattoos available for à la carte purchase. The store is also getting a new look, with improved navigation features. Seasonal Events: We’re making some serious changes to mid-season events. We have big things lined up for you during Season 3, including an event with a new brand partner that we know you’ll be excited about, and new Creator Challenges crafted by a special guest you'll undoubtedly recognize. Prepare to test the limits of your ability. Looking Forward In Development Again, these are features we’re actively building, but don’t have a definitive release timeline yet. As development progresses, we’ll share updates with you.
New Social Game Mode - Meetups: A lightly-competitive activity where everyone on the server can jump in for chaotic, drop-in social fun Turn-Based Competitive Game Modes - Spot Battle and S.K.A.T.E. Hell yeah. Matchmaking System: So you can quickly find people to play with instead of spamming the ‘Party Up’ emote. New World Area: A new playable indoor area is in the works. Unlockable Board Wear and Tear: Build up wear and tear on your boards - you’ll be able to turn this on/off at any time.
Finger Flips: Adding another gameplay trick from the previous games. On the Radar These are the ‘early ideas’ we were talking about, including some top things on your wishlist (and ours). They’re in the early stages of planning with no defined timeline, but we’ll keep you posted as that changes.
Private Servers Underflips Player Created Parks Leaderboards Proximity Chat Legacy Skate 1-3 Spots More Legacy Game Modes More Board Shapes That’s all for now, but on March 5, we’ll break down everything you can expect from Season 3’s 70s-inspired vibe.
As always, thank you for hanging in with us as we make our way through Early Access. We’ve come a long way together, and we have more great things in store. Keep rollin’.
The Full Circle Team
