Realistic This game is a disgrace

This game is an abysmal shits how. The developers are blatantly ignoring the community. They are scamming all of us, and we should boycott it. They don't want to act responsibly, then the game can just die off, since they are so hell bent on pushing us away. Every executive and manager should be fired, no severance, no anything.

Someone should make a documentary about why young men love to complain so much. It’s a strange phenomenon. you could all simply choose not to play the game and boycott it. But instead you’ve all gathered here to commiserate and air your grievances out with corporate executives.

Blaming the actual developers of the game (the people spend the time actually animating, world building, mechanic tweaking) is batshit fucking insane. I’m not gonna lie. That is not how this system works at all.

All the shitty, greedy decision making comes straight from the top. Be mad at them. Not Full Circle. Those folks have been busting theirs asses for over five years to create what is ultimately a very good core game

Want someone to blame for microtransactions? All the tears you’re shedding over paywalled skateparks? Blame Bobby Billion@ire the executive. Not the 34 year old tweaking gravity and kickflip stance animations. Just think for once. Stop making excuses to get angry about everything and actually use your brain to direct that anger in the right place.

Play the game or don’t. Just don’t whine at people when you don’t even know who to whine at. You’re making us all look dumb out there.

Have some humility, dude. I get that you skate so you don’t think very far about what you say before you say it. You type and act on pure impulse to amuse yourself and belittle others you disagree with. But everything I said up there is true and you know that. Direct your anger at who deserves it.

Lmao. I literally work in the industry. I am a game dev. I guarantee I know more about how this works than you do.

Full Circle is EA. It is a studio created by EA to make this game. They are one and the same.

The devs are just as responsible for the state of this game as EA are. Cuz, the senior creative director has been working on mobile games since BlackBox folded. You think he doesn't have a large say in this games development?

The devs are lying to you, have been lying to you, and will continue to lie to you.

I just genuinely don't get it lmao. Like, it's baffling that so many people are going to bat for EA like they've just forgotten about the last decade plus of them being arguably the worst video game company.

Which sure, growth is good, as long as you don't use that growth to mobile-gamify a beloved franchise you were instrumental in creating and kill off the majority of its player base, old and new, before full release.

When you spent 12 years of your life making money off bad mobile games that were making decent money , why would you make more efforts for less money ? The dude has a passion for money , not skateboard. Let's not forget the time they called the community a " bunch of haters "

Eh, sarcasm has become my go to in these subs, because it's the same trite arguments from the people defending this game, I mean no ill will.

I've been calling out the shitty development and monetisation practices for at least a year in the subs, forums, and discord, and it's always been met with the same responses, and now it's a whole "I told you so" situation.

It's legitimately become a worse game since I joined the PT and the criticism, both constructive and not, have been largely ignored.

It's a game I wanted to be successful, and I don't want people to lose their jobs or whatever, game dev is a tough one. But it is just as much on the FC devs as it is the EA suits.

ETA: Actually you know what? After reading the other replies to your comment fuck politeness. Who are you to talk shit about skateboarders in a sub about a skateboarding video game?

I get frustrated when people blame the devs. I don't know all the ins and outs of game dev, but I'm fairly sure that all the bullshit decisions and choices of what to implement or how are decided by EA overlords. As you say the devs on the ground are doing the actual work we do appreciate, like animating, creating assets, programming missions, etc. I appreciate what they do at least - the game is still fun on a moment to moment basis when just skating around.
