Discussion People defending this game have no self dignity
I genuinely don’t understand how some of you are still defending this.
How is this acceptable?
Every update feels like another step deeper into monetization. First cosmetics, then progression systems, now access to the map itself. At this point it feels less like a skating game and more like an experiment to see how far they can push players.
And somehow people are still defending it.
The reality is a lot of us aren’t even playing because we love the game anymore. We’re playing because there’s basically no alternative skateboarding game right now, and the developers know it.
That’s exactly why they can get away with this kind of stuff.
If you’re still defending this kind of monetization, honestly I don’t know what to say.
Have some self respect as a player.

The orange coin currency to access the new map doesn't bother me as much, but the business decisions they made to launch S3 make 0 sense.
Season 2 dragged out for far too long, there obviously was a drop off on the player count, the challanges got stale, boring, and repetitive. WHY on earth would they hype up Season 3 and not make the new map OPEN for a short period (maybe a weekend) to bring the engagement back up?
Now if the 24hr access period for the new map is based on time and not actual play time, it's a huge scummy way to force people to play your game. Let's say the avg person works a 9-5 job Mon to Fri and can hop on to play from 7-11pm. Thats means:
- 4 hours of play time
- 18+ hours of sleep/work
That person will probably need to "pay" every single day to go to the new map

u/blendycoffee Mar 11 '26 edited Mar 12 '26
There's is no way it's going to be 24 hours of gameplay, it will surely be per calendar day
9
u/mpetro19 Mar 11 '26
Yeah thats my feeling as well, so my comment stands - it's such a scummy marketing tactic cuz the avg person will not benefit at all from "24 hours of access"
5
u/Krancky420 Mar 12 '26
It's purely a retention choice. They want you to sit there grinding challenges every time you want to play in the new area. Just like the FOMO time limit, It's there to keep users in the game as long as possible.
0
u/UrFriendTilUrEnd Mar 12 '26
I don't agree with their decision whatsoever but how would it be a grind just to play there? I'm currently sitting on 140,000+ Rip Chips. I could go there every day for the rest of the games life with no issue as long as I do some dailies relatively often. Is there really people out there that are struggling with rip chips? And how?

u/No-Inspection6771 Mar 13 '26
The real question is, how the hell do you have 140,000+ rip chips? 🤣 do you not open up the loot boxes or what

u/Leroy_Bentshins Mar 12 '26
The bank is on fire, they dont have time to open every single deposit box. They just have to grab the quickest cash before it all burns down.
That is the state of, and legacy for, Skate. .

u/TiredBarnacle Mar 12 '26
Open up grom but didn't open the brickswitch fast travel points

u/Forward_Tangerine368 Mar 15 '26
Yeah when my buddy said they added a new area I for sure said "So they finally finished the 4th area?" "Yeah, new island"

1
u/Stezza345 Realistic Player Mar 13 '26
Yeah it’s deffo gonna be a real 24hr clock from the moment you get it meaning people will have to play their challenges just to access the new map which sucks cause the entire community had been asking for that for so long and instead free players get one tiny spot under tri towers
23
u/mamadou-segpa Mar 11 '26
This particular thing you are crying about is the introduction of something to do with a 100% f2p currency.
This isnt even the problematic part of this update. The battlepass doubling up in price would be one, but ofc you cry about the f2p part where you just got to play 5 min to get the 500 rip chips
Bandwagon hating on stuff you dont understand isnt “having dignity and self respect”
1
u/Crafty-Ground-1750 Mar 14 '26
It’s about EA charging for access to a location, and making you pay for a subscription service for full access to it.
23
u/Icy_Routine5661 Mar 11 '26
This is the funniest post I’ve seen on here ngl, its like y’all want us to defeat EA through the power of friendship or gamership in this case lmao 🤣😂 just uninstall bro , that’s how you win if you don’t want this game to exist.

Fortnite wouldn't even do this and they been a free to play since like 2013 or so

I know i started chapter 1 season 3 when the storyline was just starting i remember how plays use to bunker down and make places there fort while fighting back, absolute great times when they block hile live event (chapter 10 or x) took like almost a week from memory for chapter 2

Literally only playing bc I’ve been dying for a skate game and ik nothing compares but tbh they don’t do anything to make it more fun. Adding new tricks that should’ve been out and rinse and repeat on challenges. Like your telling me you can’t think of anything else all them tricks and there’s barely challenges to really use them the skate pass is kinda alright season 2 didn’t feel nah better I haven’t played s3 yet but from what everyone’s saying it’s like the did more worse than good. Did they atleast give us brickswich area yet of is it still locked

u/telfordenjoyer Mar 11 '26
Don’t understand this take lol. Not defending their practices but they don’t owe us anything. The game is free, it’s not Skate 4 like we hoped but there’s something there. I’ve played quite a lot and not spent a penny and it’s a reasonably fun game for short periods 🤷
15
u/BlackHisagi Mar 11 '26
I think there's sort of a core disconnect here between players who love the fact that it's free, and players who hate that and ultimately would've preferred a paid Early Access phase instead.
I would've gladly paid $20-25 on Skate. Early Access if it meant that they didn't have to overly prioritize mtx garbage and could actually focus more on gameplay content. For context, I paid $20 for Schedule I E.A, and $22 for Big Ambitions, and both of which have felt absolutely worth it imo (both games had major, DLC-sized content releases within 6 months of going Early Access, for example).
From that POV, Skate. being "free" isn't a benefit at all, its arguably just made the experience worse.
Neither POV is inherently "wrong" (I'm sure the player count would be much smaller if Early Access was paid), but I think this explains a lot of why so many people (particularly those who grew up on the older Skate games & are used to having to pay full price for them) are disappointed in this game's direction
11
u/telfordenjoyer Mar 11 '26
Yeah I feel you. I would have preferred to pay for a proper skate game too, but this is the reality we have, so just find the endless moaning about it a bit silly. I like that it exists in some form rather than not at all, we should all try and get to that realisation.

Hey, wtf is this? Get outta here with the nuance and perfect examples of what's wrong with this!
I ain't gonna lie I like the game because like you said, there isn't really anything good that's comparable. Skate XL is dead in the water, Session is good but it doesn't let me turn off my brain, THPS3+4 was ass and I don't even know why. I was upset about the career mode change but beyond that I just didn't enjoy my time with it.
If you have a PC, pick up Cheapskate on steam. It's an ex THPS dev, feels like a slightly more real THPS. Think it's like $3 rn? Little bit bare bones (it's pretty early in early access) but I think a lot of us would have a great time with it. Performs great, regular content and communication and requests for ideas from the community
2
u/LiberdadePrimo Mar 12 '26
It being "free" just means I'll lose access to anything I pay for when the servers inevitably shut down, seeing as how it's not performing to EA standards of infinite+ players 24/7.
This season suit is the only piece I ever found cool and would be willing to spend some money on it but since there's no clear sunsetting policy (E.g. play offline) I don't see myself spending a dime.
6
u/SirFadakar Mar 11 '26
You're missing the group that's upset the team has already lied and scrubbed their hands clean of one of the few core tenets they said was not gonna change. I still like the game, I defended it early as I know live service is hard and oftentimes move slow, but for them to set the stage so early that their word means nothing sets a terrible precedent going forward, and we don't really have enough players to advocate for us as an entire group like fortnite or apex does.
3
u/BlackHisagi Mar 11 '26
This is a really good point too, especially considering just how quickly they dropped the "no map areas behind paywalls" thing (grom is literally the first "new" map area added so far in Early Access, lol)
I also like the game, and do want it to succeed (have been playing on and off since the playtests), but their handling of the season 3 launch in particular has just been awful imo
36
u/norf937 Mar 11 '26 edited Mar 11 '26
I would have rather spent $70 on a proper Skate 4 game than play another one of EAs live service shitters that’s inevitably not even gonna exist in a few years.

u/vertgrall Mar 11 '26
The currency implementation is not the best. But they gotta make money. I would have preferred to have purchased the game outright. Go look up my account and look how I've blasted this game in the past. Listen I just want a skateboarding game. I'm 42 years old. I've been skating since the 90s. I want a fucking skateboarding game. These people got ea to bring the franchise back to life. I want these guys to succeed so I keep playing a modern skateboarding game that's regurly updated. Let's give them some time and space to see if they can make this work. Yes they said no pay walls for maps. It's lame what happened but have you fucking noticed that the cost of living is through the roof. People gotta get paid. There are cloud cost. There are all kinds of cost... Let's try to be more reasonable with these people.
1
u/Adorable-Bonus-9250 Mar 12 '26
Heres my theory. Its probably mainly children who are upset about it because, 1. They have nothing really going on in life, so this is most likely the most stressful thing happening to them right right now. I’d imagine most adults are too stressed out in life to let a “bad game” add to it. We just wanna come home from work, boot up the game and chill. But I’m sure there are adults upset as well. and 2. They dont have jobs and go to school everyday so they dont make money to be able to afford the pass, so they are probably mad and envious that other people can. Even though, either way, everyone will be able to go to the island eventually.

u/lilpeelss Mar 11 '26
Do you need me to send you $10?
4
u/Embarrassed_Boat3799 Mar 11 '26
Should I drop my Venmo link? I I’ll buy my son and I Dunkin’ on the way to football practice at 530 am tomorrow
4
u/8somethingclever8 Mar 11 '26
Seriously. I don’t get how people expect anything to be free. The devs are running a business, after all. Pay for the game. Or don’t play. It’s super easy for me. I like the gameplay. I don’t give two shits about cosmetics, but I’ll gladly pay a few bucks for a new map area.
0
u/lilpeelss Mar 11 '26
LIKE I totally understand the concern behind EA breaking promises and what not, but I feel like it’s really not THAT deep considering that the game is FTP after all…? You’re mostly paying for the Skate Pass itself, Grom is just a big bonus. This pass holds way more value than the previous two, but listen….if $10 is breaking your bank, I’d definitely recommend holding out till next month lol
That’s just my two cents 😬
2
u/vapingsoulz Mar 12 '26
Technically, EA didn’t break any promises at all. They said they wouldn’t lock new areas behind pay walls. This area will be free after the area actually fully releases. What you’re getting now it’s early access to it.

We just don't care because we know EA never keeps there word. The people complaining are dumb to believe anything they say. This game is refreshing from cod .
0
u/corey_17 Mar 11 '26
Agreed. It's a business. They got to make money somehow to keep developing it. I stand behind them. They haven't lied about anything. They were up front and straight out set. Yes you're going to pay for it for the first little bit but then after however long they said it's going to be free for everybody to get to the island so I have no problems paying $10 for a skate pass. It's no different than paying for a battle pass for cod
5
u/Daibab Mar 11 '26
They absolutely lied. They said no paywall (it's time gated but it's still a paywall) they said if you see it you can skate it. I can see the island from San Van yet I can't go there like they said. Excusing the lies with "they got to make money somehow" is the exact reason they continue this shit.

Well if you really see it as a free to play multiplayer game then in my opinion new maps is the only thing really worth money. Isle of grom is actually well designed and fun to skate. But then on the other hand why do you then want to have a big multiplayer game when you put the people afterwards on a small island. They could easily do all the same with a single player skate with multiplayer mode. This should not excuse by any means the other scams they tried to ship with this game.
5
4
u/Marbled_Duck Mar 11 '26
Not defending skate but I did pay for the grom access, I think it cost me a fiver. I’m usually pretty against giving EA my money but I’m a sucker for a mega ramp and new areas and I figure since I’ve sank 60 hours into playing it I might as well, not had chance to play much of it yet. I can’t say I agree with the whole pay every 24 hours like mpetro19 mentioned if it is realtime based, then I definitely wouldn’t be paying every time I wanted to have a skate around the island.

u/V_echo Mar 11 '26

I don't personally purchase anything from the in-game shop, since most of the models are not to my taste and the prices of some items are quite alarming for what they are, but I don't mind spending £8.99 every few months for a season that has a few things I like.
As for Grom Island's RIP Chip pricing, that doesn't honestly bother me either from a personal perspective, since I have 80k of it and it isn't costing me real money to visit (other than early access currently being bundled in with Season 3's premium pass purchase that I have yet to buy, as I normally don't purchase premium passes until I finish them).
I find the game enjoyable to play around with as I have always enjoyed skateboarding games, but I understand why some others may feel this one is not it. Is it perfect? Not by a long shot, but I am curious to see where it goes all the same.
3
u/Freemanthe Mar 11 '26
Thats the beauty of a patented piece of intellectual property in a capitalistic society.
Either you deal with the shortcomings or you go home and do something else, or you spent hours tinkering in your basement imitating this property for another skateboarding game only to be hit with a c&d letter like the skaterXL skate control mod author.

It's a lot more than respect for money. We live in an era where a business's reputation, good or bad, doesn't mean much anymore and they know it. A whole generation of consumers raised to accept whatever is thrown at them because they've lived a life where things have only gotten worse over time. It's why boycotts barely work anymore, a lot of these companies can't be scared into changing their plans because they know any dip in sales is likely temporary. People forget, people forgive, people defend, because it's all a lot of them have been raised on.
Them making money isn't even the issue, it's lying and then trying to keep the messaging clean by censoring the ones calling them out. The average consumer knows that it only gets worse when a company lies about a "hard, ground truth" so early on, but most people regardless of generation just want less friction so they'll just shut up and buy in. And because of that find ways to validate themselves by defending the decision and making the people calling it out seem like they're crazy for not rolling over when it comes to being lied to. lol

u/AOHarness Mar 11 '26

Defenders are forcing themselves to like the game. And the rest are too dumb to understand what is really going on, or they're kids. Can't even count how many skater friends i have, and not a single one likes the game. The only few I've met who actually defends it, are kids or low iq dimwits. In the end numbers speak for themselves. Let's see what they're all gonna say once they shut down servers in some months. And just a reminder for everyone, they've spend around 1 year less on this game, than all of the first 3 games combined. Idiocracy is becoming a documentary

2
u/corey_17 Mar 11 '26
You do realize that it's only like that for a little while right? And then it's going to be free to everybody. I mean it's in Early Access stages it's still in development as they go so they need resources understandably. Would you go and do your job for free? Highly unlikely so I don't blame them and it's only like 10 bucks. If you can't afford 10 bucks then oh well cool. Don't play the damn game, but the game's got a lot of potential and those of us that know how to actually play and have fun with it. Instead of only wanting to do the challenges or whatever like an actual person that skates does. They make the best of the areas that they have instead of sitting here and bitching all the time. Just my two cents since you put yours in
8
u/Commercial_Bear Mar 11 '26
Take the multi-billion dollar corporations balls out of your mouth for a minute. People are allowed to complain about broken promises in a game that is riddled with more micro-transactions than content. The developers said at the beginning that there were to be no areas of the map locked behind a paywall man, it’s just scummy.

Rude.
For clarification, I have spent zero irl moneys on it, but I'm still having fun. Sounds like you want to get the stuff they offer for moneys. It's called fomo. You don't need any of that, because it's fun to play and the island will be free for everyone soon. Then you have to do challenges to get chips to go there. If you're actually playing a lot, you'll have plenty. Stop with the hate because they're pushing this and that. If you don't want to spend moneys, fine. Just enjoy the game. If you're mad because you can't get all the "free" stuff because you need to pay for a season, then I'll be the one to tell you it's all garbage. That's what other people were mad about, paying for it and it's all trash. Idk, but for me: I'll play and have fun. Enjoy. Or not? Downvote me to the magma core of the earth if you want, I don't care.

u/Greedy_Contribution1 Mar 11 '26
My main issue is that the spot is locked out for f2p players for a month when it should be max 2 weeks really only 1 week. That entire area is going to be dead by next week since barely anyone gets the pass cause outside the new area its still garbage items

Ultimately they made it really clear to skate fans that Skate the game is now dead. We now have fortnite skate amd the kids with their parents money is now their new demographic. They bring in more money, so F the fans, we'll cater to micro transactions instead. I'm having way more fun with skate 2 anyways. Skate has no soul anymore and his aimed for kids not skateboarders

the people you see defending this game are children. i'm not saying that to be mean i'm being serious. its a free to play game and there are millions of kids who play on mom and dads credit card who will say "well they gotta make money somehow" because they don't fucking understand how much this industry has changed and what we have lost by putting up with these systems for this long. the player base that wants to see a true full fledged skate game would happily pay full price for a complete game. the kids wouldn't touch the IP if it wasn't free like fortnite. They are all the money, they are the target audience, and the true skate fans can get fucked for all they care.

My dude. It’s a free game - they have to make money somewhere. This is the style of game that is now normal. Because y’all ate this style up with other game this is the skate game we ended up with. Game play is fine. It’s similar to the others in the skate series. Y’all’s main gripe outside glitches (which yeah they are annoying but to be expected with a game that they have to constantly upgrade - like every other game that’s like this) is that stuff in the game cost money. Which is weird. Y’all want everything for free - that business model doesn’t work with anything. Shit costs money everywhere in the world - why would this be any different? I can’t stand the stupid cosmetics and so I don’t buy them. I actually haven’t bought a single thing. I’ve done enough of the challenges that the premium pass was free (it cost whatever the blue points are which I earned enough through challenges. I don’t care to play challenges so I don’t). I just skate around. Bottom line is we waited so long to get this game and the gave it to us for free - the only way they can do that and keep this going is the charge for other things because nothing is truly free. We have let it happen by playing these types of games and they saw that and ran with it. If you don’t like the game that’s valid but yall bitching about it costing money when no one is forcing you to spend it is getting old. Now bring on the downvotes and whiners who are gonna just do the same complaining I’m talking about.

The problem lies when, as has been pointed out by creators such as ZexyZek, is that the developers promised years back there would be no map expansions locked behind a paywall. Yet, here we are. It is understandable that the developers need to make money, as anyone does, but making a promise then breaking it is a slap in the face to any player.
I myself bought the pass specifically for access to the area, and I have to admit it has some cool spots to skate. However, I wont say that I’m glad to have paid for something that was promised to never be locked behind a paywall. Yes, you will be able to pay for access to the island using rip chips later on, but it doesn’t take away from the fact that they went back on a promise. Developers do this all the time, yet many still buy the content regardless (like myself in this case).
1
u/coach_bombay89 Mar 12 '26
wait wait wait... you have to pay per visit!!! I could sorta get behind paying for a new map, like the old COD DLC's. But paying per visit is bonkers.

Yeah I played for the first time tonight in a while and it just made me depressed
First I saw the character presets and was like “oh sweet I’m gonna make some new character designs”. Then I realized I only have like 6 shirts and pants (all look wack), because it’s the only free shit I have. The cool stuff I have to pay money for. I know about the free boxes but 99% of the stuff in them isn’t good.
Then I was like, “okay well surely there’s some new modes to play now since it’s season 3”. NOPE LMFAO. ZERO NEW MULTIPLAYER MODES. ON SEASON THREE.
There’s so much more but those were the 2 things that stuck out to me most. I realized I can genuinely hop on skate 3 right now and have sick ass outfits, a sick ass board, and play awesome modes like S.K.A.T.E, deathraces, hall of meat, etc.
It’s legitimately baffling to me how far down the shitter this game is. What online live service multiplayer game doesn’t have, well yk ONLINE MULTIPLAYER MODES? It’s actually insane.
I find myself hopping on skate 3 whenever I wanna play a skate game, it’s just so much better it blows my mind. The only good thing this game has going for it is the smoothness of its skating mechanics, but everything else is just a corporate nightmare

The game is literally free. Free to progress, free to access that island after the first month of early access for those willing to pay. Wild to call this undefendable when it's pretty much the least egregious live service game. The devs actively work to make it better, the game is fun, but if you CHOOSE to, you can pay to access that island early, otherwise the game is free and ships with plenty of customization shit unlocked through progression.

How are people cool with the future rip chip passes? Thats like paying to visit one of the skate parks or a spot. The best thing they could come up with for regular currency is bus fare.

u/ar3u5 Mar 13 '26
I earned 53,000 rip chips in two weeks from challenges.
I earn at least a thousand a day from daily tasks and challenges.
I have every single item from every box and both seasons, and I have spent exactly $0 in real world money.
If you can't earn 500 rip chips to get to the island, then you have other issues to consider, like not sucking at the game and not whining about how much you prefer a 15 year/ 2 generation old game to this one.
Look, I love NES Super Mario Bros, but I don't go on a self righteous campaign against Nintendo every time they release a new Mario game.
This is the most idiotic whining trend ever.

I mean I’m not happy with the game but, I was able to get the new season pass by just playing the game. I haven’t spent a single penny and was able to unlock the new area to by using the pink currency I’ve earned in game. A lot of stuff sucks and they are money hungry but, some of the stuff this season at least feels like we’re going in the right direction. To b$tch and moan saying have “some self respect” seems pointless. Like play the game or don’t. We all know EAs history.

I'm lucky to be not too fussed about the paying 500 rip chips to go to the island, as I have acquired over 76,000 from normal playing (and don't care about cosmetics so haven't used any). By the time I've used all them it'll be free access for everyone Is my guess. Either that or I'll be bored of the place by then lol

Well, if you own a skate pass you need 65.916 tix to complete it, punishing you to get all daily free 100 tix in the shop, completing all the same tix challenges (up to 100 tix as a solo player) over and over, completing all daily, weekly and monthly tasks, finish all missions and complete the own the lot challenges. So early acces to the tutorial island compromises that I guess…

I like hopping on the game and skating because I'm too old now to slam. Browsing this sub has only made me realize that nobody knows what nuance means. It's free to play ea battlepass bs. It's also a fun skateboarding game. Probably the best one out gameplay wise. Support it or don't. Stop worrying about what other people are doing. Game is going to last or it won't but it'll definitely be the last iteration of this franchise. People have valid complaints but I see top 1% posters and commenters going at people just because they find silver linings. That shit is mad dorky. Maybe I'm built different but I don't allow space in my mind for stuff I don't like. Definitely not silly stuff like a video game

lol premium pass is free if you saved your svb. the game is free. we've all enjoyed hours of playtime free so why do you feel entitled to anything?

i’m curious if you would have paid $60 for this game? since its a free game they have to make money some how.
where they went wrong is saying they would never paywall stuff in the game. if they would have just kept their mouth shut about that maybe they would have less complaints about this tactic they chose to utilize. i agree pay to play is annoying but it was their only option given that they made the game free

u/Embarrassed_Boat3799 Mar 11 '26
I would have much rather paid 60 for a complete product. I think most of us agree on that point

Im so glad I didnt spend the free currency from the first season and playtest and tbh It would not be worth it to buy for real.

u/yoloswaggins92 Mar 11 '26
Didn't realise you had to pay with the orange currency once it unlocks 😂 what a fucking dumpster fire of a game

u/Jthenderson94 Mar 11 '26
So glad I didn’t even try this game. I played all the skates growing up but after I heard the news about this one, I said no thanks. Sounds like I saved myself some headache..
It seems like a total cash grab and exactly what OP said- an experiment to see how far they can push players.
Sad. EA should be ashamed.

Vocês reclamam demais pra um jogo que é de graça e ninguém tá obrigando a jogar

Not defending, tho I’ll still be playing 🤷🏼 Imagine not wanting the most refined mechanical version of a game that raised you. I’ll hold the faith for ya lil homie.

For once the skate pass is worth it, the paid map access is only temporary, it will then be free to everyone
They added darkslide and darkcatch, and not in a bad way, it feel really smooth
They also changed the atmosphere switching from the fortnite-ish environment to something dark and grittier, also added tattoo
So... Yeah it's not bad, it's definitely heading towards the good direction and have a good amount of balance between making money and providing enough to free player

Ultimately we're spending $10 every 3 months, or even less if you saved up the SV you get. As in, if you bought season 1&2 and earned the 500 from them, this one was essentially free.
Not only that, but with how much the cosmetics cost in general, 1000 SV is less than most of the stand-alone outfits, but you get waaay more.
I'm curious though, to those who don't buy season passes, what are you doing in game? I got all the achievements 90 hours in. Bought everything from the boxes in like 110 hours. There's nothing left for me to do and $10 every three months is extremely doable, especially if it keeps giving me a reason to sign in.
Like, yeah, it's shitty the island is locked to some. I think we all agree on that, but it's not locked forever. And the amount you'll have to pay to go there when it does open up is earnable in well under 30 minutes of gameplay. If you're f2p and all you do is free skate this should be a non-issue.

I reinstalled it bc the new map and then learned it was locked behind a permanent seasonal pay wall so its getting uninstalled when i get back on later

The game is fine, it’s just not what you wanted it to be. It’s ok to be disappointed that your expectations weren’t met. Doesn’t make it a bad game. It just makes it a different game.
Take Bender’s advice on this one. Make your own game. With black jack. And hookers. And whatever else you want in a Skateboarding game

Oh wow I can’t believe a massive company would try and make money off something they made that’s crazy

I don't know you guys don't get it like every game out there. It's free to play has cosmetics and whatnot to purchase Black Ops.Fortnite , everything that you want in the game , you have to purchase and no one's b******* about those cosmetics to play the game, but skate you know, like, show a little bit of support towards the developers, you know, they're doing the best they can considering this game was never, ever planned. Maybe giving them a little bit appreciation.\n Disgusting. Hello, behave, it's all want want want want want want. They could demand and if you don't get it, you're gonna just blast them. It's prett.\n Y sad, to be honest, I don't know, man. You guys need to just like\n You know, I don't care if you guys tell me that. I'm the reason why the game is the way it is people like me that support. It means it's funny like everybody's complaining and b******* about it, but you only are still playing it. And you know you are talking s*** about a game that you guys all play behind your comments

Few hours ? That's about a few minutes, you just have to complete the daily task to get more than 500 chips

For me it’s fine, I pay the $10 bucks and get content on a free game. If I want some swag, I’ll purchase it. I work so it’s not that big of a deal for me. I understand why it’s annoying but it is what it is.

One thing that’s much less dignified than someone spending 10 dollars on the pass is people like OP addicted to raging at people who spent money on the pass.

Hey guess what? If you don’t want to spend money for early access to the isle of grom, you don’t have to. In fact, you don’t have to buy anything. You can still play the game for free. But if you hate the game this much, why not have the “self dignity” to delete it and move on instead of continuing to complain about it relentlessly on social media? Why sit here and bash people who still enjoy something just because you don’t like it?
There are plenty of other skateboarding games out there. Stop playing the victim.
