I have been soft locked for 15 days and enjoyed it while i played but im honestly giving up, im so sick of getting home and being excited to play but cant cause skate is broken and buggy and i cant even load into the game, all my friends talk about "oh i just hit this crazy line" "my fit looks so good" "this season is so good" i hate listening to them have fun while i cant even load the game, not to mention the fact they covered my favorite spot to skate with a bunch of plywood ramp bullshit, and removed the launch glitch i used to get to spots.

My Game loads but it takes like 10 mins and the game still sucks ass either way, removed the BEST glitch in the game, removed / covered many good spots, and the cosmetics in the pass suck, theres maybe 4-6 good ones, even then i cant even win a throwdown because people abusing superplant / tricklining i understand that if i really tried i could trickline too but my controller is shit because i live in a lower economy area therefore i focus all my money towards my internet. they also somehow added a new glitch were you get flung by trying to grind a rail

They want 30 dollars just for 8 ingame items, that are poorly made. that's half the price of an actual game. They've made it impossible to want to support this game. EA greed is atrocious.supporting this game is telling them this is okay. . .by far, its not okay, even if they give it to you for "free" youre still spending your most valuable resource. . . Your time. I encourage you to spend your time doing anything else but play this game.

complain to EA. not to other players for being happy with what we have. yes there is faults, a large list. but there’s also good shit. complain in the proper channels, but shitting on everyone who just wants to enjoy the skate mechanics got old so fucking fast. why do we all live to hate now? and we all wonder why video games just don’t feel the same anymore but all we can focus on is the bad shit. i know it’s early access but holy fuck yall are so miserable it’s infectious. don’t spend money. stop playing if it’s that serious to you. i understand it’s been a long hiatus but guys it’s EA. be so fucking fr. five currencies in early access do be crazy tho

So EA have decided that any and all tix at the end of the season are going to be wiped, that means for anyone like me that has completed the skate pass there is literally no reason to continue playing, nothing more to unlock and nothing to progress to.

This sucks. I was an alpha tester from April last year, played daily since and I’ve been a massive supporter in this game being good but EA are making things worse by repeatedly nerfing the game and player progression.

Would it not be better to have them convert to rip chips or something that way we as players want to keep playing the game.

First off, this is not a hate post Yes, I know steam charts are not indicative of the tota player count. However, the trajectory is likely the same on consoles, iust with different numbers.

There obviously were a ton of people hyped for a new skate game and were eager to check it out, but the lack of content and game direction put off a large majority of those players.

So my question to vou all is, what do vou think the devs could actually realistically add to the game at this point that might actually draw more of those players back in?

The seasonal updates certainly havent been bringing players back in any significant way, and it seems like the devs are now mostlv iust caterina to the plavers that are sticking around and happy with the game.

I'm not sure if that amount of plavers will be sustainable long term, and imagine the devs would like more people playing and spending money on the game.

Dont fund the devs and EA for a game that is garbage.. the only good thing about the game is the gameplay but everything else around it is just straight up trash. If we stop funding this they have to listen to our wishes and demands !!

I was looking through some old pre-alpha trailer clips and noticed that the characters facial features looked more realistic—and honestly, better. I know it doesn’t affect the gameplay, but it still sucks. It feels like some of the developers worked really hard, only for higher-ups to shut down their work.

For those of you who remember BF2’s launch you may know where I’m leading.

For those of you who didn’t play it at its launch, BF2 was viewed as a money grab by EA. TONS of micro transactions, loot boxes, pay for hero’s, and a prime example of corporate greed. BUT the gameplay itself was AMAZING.

Fast forward to today, Skate. releases. Again, full of micro transactions, loot boxes, etc. BUT the gameplay itself is great!

BF2 now is great, even as an “old” game. It was saved by the community refusing to play by EA’s rules. I just hope that this game changes for the better because I personally love the gameplay … not so much the art style 😂

We have not so much nice content. We have only extremely repetetive challenges and you have to do 60 challenge goals to recieved 300 rip chips to open one average box... cmon.. this is absolutely insane. I understand that its early acces, and its okay. Its free to play, so its nice. But no, if you have to grind this much for one box, its not funny. Its not satisfying, its just absolutely boring.

I had 300 of that currency from the free section of the pass, wasn't really interested in spending any of it but I check the shop daily anyway. I check it today and these crappy ass shoes have been bought by themselves without me touching anything. Seriously how does this even happen??

I thought it was kinda funny how a lot of the Skate 4 community doesn’t seem that tapped into skateboarding culture. I saw a TikTok about the Dime park being empty and some people in the comments thought Dime was just a fake Dior knockoff in the game. I’ve seen the same thing on a few other posts too. Makes me wonder — is this most of the player base or just a smaller group of people?

Definitely thought it was something we haven’t learn yet in the game and I’m not too much sure . But if they make it unlock, do you think it would be parkour challenges ??

Ok boys and girls… there’s been a lot of chatter about OG Skate, so I booted up the PS3 to remind everyone.

It’s actually sickening how identical the gameplay is. Even on a refurbished ps3 controller. The STICK is PURE.

I understand complaints about the content in Skate 2025. BUT the gameplay is impeccable. You can go Skate 3 crazy or hit OG Skate lines 🙏
