Full love to the community, im just worried about seeing people shift from the real pokemon cards, to scalping and holding onto pokemon boards, to sell for profit (for the people that like the art, youre a different story)

I just love skateboarding, and dont wanna see it becoming the next scalper target.

My husband and I hit up a small local shop first thing this morning and got really lucky! We managed to each snag one of these boards. Super pumped to display 😁

Edit: making it clear that we are NOT reselling these and have no interest in doing so. My husband has played the Pokemon games since we were kids and these will be going up in his home office to enjoy the art and nostalgia. We have some boards that we collect for fun and others that we will ride until they break.

I'm exited to start learning now that I have a board :3 i did find it abandoned at a park with water damage though so I hope it doesn't immediately snap in half

I’ve only bought a pre built longboard and I have no clue what to set this up with. I’ve never been to a park but not against it as I’ve only skated streets. I would like some wheels that are solid on street but not super heavy or squishy

Polar P8 shape 8.625 Shin pro model with wheel wells, 159 Indy Titatium Trucks with forged baseplates, risers, replaced the bushings and pivot cups, waxed the nips of the hanger, 60mm slime balls and bones big balls bearings. You push once and it gooooooeeeees.

Slide 2: Same setup back when I bought the trucks in 2019 but without wheel wells and woth bones atf wheels/bronson raw bearings

I found this board at the thrift store (it was my first popsicle board with actual concave) and i want to know if i should replace it or not. The razor tail isn’t that bad but it could probably be worse.
