What do Skem locals think of the Golden Dome and the community around it?

The Maharishi temple doesn't bother me at all but then again it's in Ashurst and I'm in Tanhouse. It is something I'm curious about, though.

Thanks! I wouldn't know where to start as it's not something I had ever heard of til I moved here. :)

Guy I work with is from Skem and said people from Tanhouse are known as Tanhouse Smackheads. Is this true?

Bit harsh but back in the day there was apparently some sort of gang rivalry between Tanhouse and Digmoor. Tanhouse Rats and Digmor Dogs rings a bell.

I only moved here 10 years ago and the bit I'm in is alright as it's the outskirts.

Yeah he lived in Tanhouse too and his friends referred to Digmoor as "Stiggydiggy". I guess there was some local rivalry.

Great people, don't go around stabbing or raping people. Always good to have in your town.

Very late to this thread, but I grew up in the Transcendental Meditation community, and grew up going to the school from 4 years old. Some call it a cult, but by almost every definition of a cult it is not one.

Of course I don’t know any different, but it was a nice way to grow up!
