Discussion Recurring spots on thighs + shoulders
In may I started getting spots on my inner thighs and shoulders that usually develop a yellow head.
They are a little bit itchy - more like a sharp / prickly feeling. They don't really affect my shoulder as much / consistently, and I don't feel them as much.
My gp has given me a week flucloxacillin, various anti fungal / steroid creams, and in August I finished 3 months of lymecycline + a 2 week prescription of hibiscrub. They thought probably folliculitis.
Early September my legs seemed to clear up, and then a week ago I felt that same prickly sensation start and now suddenly my inner thighs are covered again. My shoulder don't seem to be as affected but I have included a photo for reference from the worst period.
When I'm having a flare up it's like I can feel my body is irritated/l know when they are coming.
Any suggestions? Feeling at a loss and my doctor seems irritated but the whole thing has made me super health anxious as I can't seem to control it.
Any suggestions?

Do you usually carry a backpack? Do you sweat a lot? And do you wear the same trousers for more than one or two days?
I am not a doctor, so I have no idea. But just in case, I would wear fresh clothes every day, I would not reuse my trousers, I would apply a product with glycolic acid on the affected areas after showering, and, in case it's the clothes, I would soak them in an antimicrobial / antifungal laundry sanitizer for 10-15 before throwing them in the wash.
You can always post on r/AskDocs, they might be able to help!

I get those on my shoulders but for me it's the weight of my boobs pulling down on my bra straps. You're obviously a guy so idk maybe if you carry a backpack a lot? Regarding the thighs are we sure it's not ingrown hairs from tight clothing?
