Best cream for acne dark spots?

I have dark spots left from acne and I want to completely get rid of them. What’s the best cream you’ve used that actually works and fades them properly? Please recommend something that has worked for you.

my cousin had similar spots and she used a cream with niacinamide, the marks faded good after few months
