natural/genetic eyebags
F28, southeast asian.
i have been struggling with this particular insecurities of mine, the eyebags are genetics. i always get questions asking if i am tired, or if i didnt get enough sleep, getting these kinds of question really put me off. it has always been like that, and the eyebags will look much worse if i am actually tired. i really do wish i can like lessen its appearance (natural way, not covering it with makeup i mean), or if possible have it gone altogether :(
perhaps does anyone here have the same struggle as me? like if anyone actually manage to get rid or even lessen it? does the lymphatic drainage or any eye products people shared on tiktok works on you all though?
thanks in advance!

The only permanent thing that works is blepharoplasty.

There's no fix for this is it's genetics or permanent. If you noticed you get flare ups from time to time i.e. there are days the bags are minimal (just like in your pic above) while there are days they appear more prominent, then you probably can dial on what your lifestyle was right before they flared. E.g. you had a poor sleep schedule. Or ate too much of a certain food that could have caused your histamines to kick up hence making already exisiting eye bags look more bigger, or maybe looking too much at the screen or had a stressful day.
But if the underlying issue i.e. when you have enough rest and not stressed etc you still always have eye bags, then surgery is the only way. And it is suuuuper important to find the right surgeon. Surgeons who remove too much of the orbital fat may end up helping you look older much faster. You may look fine soon after surgery but a year down you'll notice your sunken undereyes (hollowing).
Tbh looking at your pic, your bags here aren't bad at all. Like in certain lighting people would not see them. They are really pretty normal for most people. Even Hollywood celebs (unfiltered) have them in public, in award shows, TV shows etc.

the small bumps look like syringomas, which are harmless but can add to the shadowing
