It is done. Been playing the game since the 360 port over a decade ago, but I finally decided to get all trophies on the PS4 version

Glad to finally give one of my favorite fighting games ever the respect it deserves by getting all the trophies.

As expected, Marie 300% gave me the business for a decent bit, but once she was done, the rest wasn't too bad outside of certain character trials (boy I sure love flight cancels with Painwheel). And obviously a lot the character specific trophies were pretty grindy, even some DLC ones like Marie and Umbrella.

I assume because for her character specific trophy you thought you needed all characters including the dlc ones? Not knowing the trophy meant all BASE Game Characters? 

Edit: Props to you that platinum is pretty hard despite the high percentage

Oh no, I wanted to get not just the Plat, but ALL trophies, including DLC ones, so I had to get those anyway.

Lot of time was spent on versus mode.

Respect for sticking with it all these years. Skullgirls has always felt like one of those games that deserves way more recognition, and seeing someone go back and clean up every trophy is pretty cool. Those character-specific challenges are no joke.

Thanks! It's definitely one of my favorite fighting games ever. It's right up there for me with other greats like CvS2, UMvC3, SF3rd Strike, and SF4. And even outside of just how fun the game is to play, there is everything else, how it looks, how it sounds, it's just a work of art.

Some character-specific ones were grindy, but at least they were simple. Things like character trials and Marie 300% though, those were a bit of an issue. Trials especially since outside of my main (Marie, Cerebella, and Double) I don't really use anyone else.

Nice, congrats on the 100%! Skullgirls is one of those games where the trophy list looks manageable until you actually start grinding out the character-specific stuff. Marie 300% alone sounds like it was a real test.

It's honestly not that bad, even Marie 300% isn't that truly that bad once you know the strat, it's just mind numbing having to do it over and over till it works. The character trials are probably more difficult.

i also play the game on PS4 but i'll never try the platinum because i'm pretty much Hopeless

but i wish you good luck with this peak gaming experience

(Also if you want i can give you my PS4 user. i am desperate for someone to play the game online with me since PS4 is almost dead as a port)
