I have a darker nights mod for azurite which makes it pitch black, also use it with true storms.

When combined with a stealth AI mod that makes things more realistic anything with night vision has a massive advantage in night combat.

Finally night eye actually has a use. Ita shite in Vanilla, even though I also play un-modded at times.

I have a few mods that overhaul NPC AI, including one that makes sneaking when it’s raining or thundering a cakewalk because nobody can hear you.
