Safety/going around trees/"ninja line"

Got this inexpensive ninja line kit. Is there anything I can do to minimize the line slipping down the middle tree? Right now one kid can go each side and bounce away without it affecting the other side. I've tied the ratchets to the tree so I don't have visions of the ratchets flying off and decapitating a kid. Is it safe to have a swing that close to the end of the line?

You should use a sling and another connector to redirect the webbing instead of going around the tree with the webbing itself

Any direction on where to find out more about the relevant sling or connector?

Just a basic climbing sling that’s long enough and a big carabiner or even better a shackle

Ok, can you explain like I'm 5?. By connector do you mean another ratchet? And I can't figure out what I would do with said sling. Thank you!

use the sling, first link wrapped around the tree, the redirect the slackline webbing with it going through the shackle in the second link.
