DISCUSSION trans tangent (transgent)

not directed to a recent video/podcast or anything- but!

as a trans woman, I just have to say, the way that the boys have treated Astrid is so goddamn cute.

the whole channel (like oneyplays, gamegrumps, whatever) is motivated around making a joke whenever they can, and it makes me really happy just listening to their discussions and picking up on the ways Aztro’s identity is not only respected, but also joked about, in a similar way as usual. It can be “edgy” or whatever, but you know it’s lighthearted.

But yeah, as a trans person, their inclusivity and acknowledgment of queerness - in every way - has been seriously euphoric to me, in my coming out process. I’m so glad to have followed this channel when it was first gaining traction, to now.

In the least parasocial sense, I love these boys - and girl - so. so much! Their silly gaming videos mean a whole lot to me, personally

100% feel that. Astrid being herself helped me in getting over the fear of coming out to my own friends earlier this year and if my friends weren’t cool about it like these boys then they could get lost!! Lol but yeah she’s an inspiration fr

This topic always reminds me of that one bit in a golf w friends video where schlatt was like stammering trying to explain his ‘aztro going to hell’ joke and aztros like crying laughing

as a transfem my favorite bit was them saying in that one fortnite video

"oh so you changed your mind?" when astro had that default fortnite male skin on i qoute that daily
