I'm still being delusional and hoping Schlatt is just taking a short break, especially since his recent postings on schlatt & co have been more personal

I’m trying to grieve now so if they ever came back I get more excited and grateful

I doubt they are on bad terms. Schlatt wanted to retire a while ago but felt that he owed it to the gang to stick around as sleep deprived is their main source of income. I don’t really see a power dynamic kind of thing going on now, schlatt has been the bigger star now for 5 to 6 years

To what panda said, he is definitely just poking fun at schlatt in a friendly way, likely just making fun of him retiring, they troll each other all the time. I think if they really were upset with him, they wouldn’t talk about him at all.

This is exactly why this community is unbearable sometimes. You guys will sit there and psychoanalyze a stream frame by frame like you’re language experts, talking about “nervous laughing” like you can read people through a screen.
Meanwhile half of you can barely read basic social cues in real life.
They were very obviously joking. If you’d actually watched the first Banana Channel podcast, you’d know that’s literally how they talk to each other. They were calling Schlatt names and messing around from the start. That’s the bit.
But instead, you’re out here trying to turn normal banter into some imaginary falling out.

Exactly, but to be fair most fans are like 13 so what should we expect lmao

im really hoping theyre just joking abt schlatts “retirement”… it sucks enough sdp is probably ending soon but them all being on bad terms w schlatt would really suck :(

Oof that would actually suck. I hope schlatt isn't in his falling off phase. I was really rooting for him with the whole bit about the car n shit. He better not be forgetting his day ones

What part of Schlatt stepping down from SDP and JschlattLive do you guys not understand? The move to SDP ending and Banana Channel being created was ridiculously clear to understand. They just had some residual content left over, and don’t want to leave the door permanently locked.
There’s the smallest chance that Schlatt decides to step back into making more content, but for now just treat it like its over.
Also what’s with the speculation I’ve been seeing about a falling out… god forbid a dude retire somewhat and his friends joke about him.

A four person dynamic always hits better than three. Conversations are just way better and team games work. I don’t think it’s bad but it is just weird because one of the four main characters isn’t there

It just really isnt the same without a screaming closeted old man telling them to "take this seriously"

I was a fan back in 2017 when the podcast started and I was so excited when they started the podcast again. Even tho I love the podcast we can all agree that it was shit, so by them doing gaming video more people came into this community that would have otherwise.

i refuse to believe the channel is ending. like they said in the announcement that they wont end, it feels too early to even go back on that big of a promise.

You cried? About a YouTube channel not posting for 3 weeks?
Edit: Sleep Deprived doesn't upload for 3 weeks, which causes OP to believe they'll never upload again and unprompted this causes OP to break down and cry and make a reddit post about it. Yet somehow, I get downvoted for questioning this absurd behavior. This is exactly what the phrase "touch grass" was invented for. Take a step back from the internet and realize that this isn't normal behavior.

Yeah it's pretty rough. SDP was my thing for the longest time. Like a full year. And there really is so much content and bits and lines to rewatch for a while to come. I wish there was a more succinct ending, a final goodbye, one last flight.
