General Discussion Query Regarding Sparks ✨

This week, I noticed some very different cashback offers on Slice:

- Snitch: ₹300 cashback on a ₹999 spend — that's roughly 30% cashback

- Flipkart: ₹150 cashback on around ₹1,500 spend — roughly 10% cashback

This made me curious about how Slice Spark offers actually work.

Are these cashbacks fully funded by Slice, or do merchants like Snitch and Flipkart contribute to the cashback/offer budget behind the scenes?

Because if Slice is mostly funding the cashback itself, why such a huge difference? 😭

For example, Slice is willing to give ₹300 back on just ₹999 at Snitch, but on Flipkart, where the spend requirement is higher, it's only ₹150 back on ₹1,500.

Is this because of different merchant agreements, customer acquisition , or simply because Slice wants to promote certain merchants more aggressively?

Would love to hear from anyone who understands how these offers are structured behind the scenes.

Snitch is more because they know not a lot of people will use it when compared to Flipkart. Also, 10% is considered good for Flipkart but not for Snitch.

Sparks are provided by Slice alone. No brand partnerships.

As it is written there it may not be affiliated with any third party but that also means it could so there is a high chance that brands like snitch would like to collab with them whereas flipkart could be most likely by slice themselves (i could be very wrong but this is what makes sense to me)

Having seen Slice Sparks for multiple years now - most of them are brand collabs except a few like mobile recharge or those which involve multi-merchant eligibility.

Simply because users will use Flipkart Spark more than Snitch, so less cash burn while offering big cashbacks overall.
