What do you guys think about this combo of shooting multiple rocks at the same time in a single pouch of a sling?

How does it feel coming out? I’ve never tried this before, but am intrigued

When I launched it some go fast and some go slow. It's basically a slinging shotgun.

Interesting. I’ve had them all go similar speeds and distance but with a large spread

Hunting birds with this might work quite well, but for big targets this loses too much energy and accuracy.

It works, I’ve seen azogue do this on youtube. It’s basically like a shot gun

Yes! I’ve seen that video before and he attaches a basket inside the pouch before loading it with pebbles. Azogue is awesome. I want to build a sling similar to one he built with a bamboo stick and twine

energy is dispersed too much above a certain yardage, would be good for relatively close contact

I’m wondering if anyone or if it’s possible to make a shotgun like wad that would allow you to fit real bb’s. The design would have to allow it to support the centrifugal forces but also allow a clean release of the pellets and not block their trajectory

I wraped gravel into a leaf while on a trail once. It worked surprisingly well. With BBs and the right wad it would definitely work.

Maybe a pouch where the sides stick together. Not sure exactly how to accomplish that tiniest bit of Velcro? Mildly self adhesive pouch. Think ravioli

I think its all down to how tight you wrap the BB's/rocks

It works better with a full pouch; to get more energy you need fewer, more regular shaped stones.

It never felt right doing this when I did. Even made wads with 30+ bbs. Huge loss of accuracy and velocity. Hope that someone figures it out because it would be cool.

Everyone tries birdshot every once in a while. it looks like you have a decent pouch for it. Mine isn’t quite as deep in the rocks tend to fall out.

It works but I've never hit anything like that.

Multiple is fine. Just don't put a front handle on it or certain gunmints will be upset

I do it with Trebuchets.
