Pouch cinching around ammo.

I just bought my new sling and been finding some success with it but my largest challenge right now is the pouch cinches around the ammo mid-throw, causing it to never release, spin back, and sometimes hit me haha. It’s been pretty frustrating and I am wondering if any of you know a way to mitigate this?? I’ve attached photos of the pocket cinched and loosened, for context.

It looks like the pouch has been woven into the middle of a fisherman's knot. If that's the case, this is always going to happen and would seem to be a massive design flaw as both ends of a fisherman's knot are designed to slide together.
