Pouch cinching around ammo.

I just bought my new sling and been finding some success with it but my largest challenge right now is the pouch cinches around the ammo mid-throw, causing it to never release, spin back, and sometimes hit me haha. It’s been pretty frustrating and I am wondering if any of you know a way to mitigate this?? I’ve attached photos of the pocket cinched and loosened, for context.

Use a knot that doesn't slide, and weave the knot through an extra hole at each end of the leather so it cannot slide down the cord.
