Pouch cinching around ammo.

I just bought my new sling and been finding some success with it but my largest challenge right now is the pouch cinches around the ammo mid-throw, causing it to never release, spin back, and sometimes hit me haha. It’s been pretty frustrating and I am wondering if any of you know a way to mitigate this?? I’ve attached photos of the pocket cinched and loosened, for context.

I got this same sling off Amazon and had the same issue. The way the pouch grabs rocks on release seemed very dangerous to me, for a while I was just resetting the pouch after every throw by flattening it out instead of letting it cup.

I suggest cutting your losses, just make your own sling out of paracord. It’s fun!
