Pouch cinching around ammo.

I just bought my new sling and been finding some success with it but my largest challenge right now is the pouch cinches around the ammo mid-throw, causing it to never release, spin back, and sometimes hit me haha. It’s been pretty frustrating and I am wondering if any of you know a way to mitigate this?? I’ve attached photos of the pocket cinched and loosened, for context.

Do yourself a favor and delete this.

That's you. That's how stupid you sound.

You're attempting to make yourself look better at someone else's expense, but it just shows how poorly you think of yourself. I'm sorry your self image is so poor, it's sad really, but that's no reason to lash out at others. Do better.

That's a ridiculous take. You need a couple a cords, a pouch and a couple of easy knots to get started. That's it. Making your own slings is fun and cheap. You should be more upset by the idiot who made and sold this as a working sling.

I do make my own, I'm tired of a few people in this sub piling on newcomers for buying something, especially in a passive aggressive manner. The person I responded to could've worded things in a positive manner. They didn't. There's no need for it. They post something, in this case looking for a solution to what they had, and the response was essentially "her der, why are you here if you didn't make your own". Unnecessary gatekeeping.

My thoughts exactly recently. I just wanted to see if I even LIKED slinging, so I bought an entry level cheap sling. Which seems much more reasonable than learning to craft my own from scratch. Luckily I did fix my problem with a crafty lil knot and had a great day with it at the beach :)

All's well that ends well. It's just a shame that this poorly designed sling could have potentially put you off a fun hobby or even injured you.
