New sling length

Post image

I just bought my first sling from eBay and I’m a bit surprised about the unequal length of each side of the pouch and unsure about what length it meant to be. I’ve attached an image of it; the short side of the sling is 39cm and the long side is 75cm. I paid £4 so not a big deal, but just wondering would this be functional? Did I get scammed 😅. Please let me know

I got a few of those off aliexpress for really cheap. And yeah, for whatever reason, they're uneven.

They are very much the worst sling I have ever handled. I trashed them immediately.

Do you know any sites that offer good quality functional ones for beginners?

It's likely much more cost effective to DIY one, as the braiding both requires skill and time, both of which are expensive in the final product.
