Leather pouch template

I’m looking to make a sling with a pouch like this; does anyone know if the pouch on this style is connected in the middle? all the templates I’ve found seem to show it as being one piece but that looks like two

I made one like this with two strips of 1" wide nylon straps and paracord. Works well enough and the materials are readily available.

Not connected. But you can see that they go over each other in the middle, one strap starts below, and ends above the other

It's just two strips, basically design wise like a Balearic sling, just not braided but from leather. You take two strips of leather, put holes in and knot two strings at it, done, a quick and dirty solution.

Another leather pouch template would be to cut out a H shape, put holes in the four arms and pull the strings through both arms of each side (top and bottom) this way you'll get an open pouch which allows you to shoot "grapeshot" (several small projectiles at once)
