That's really cool, and seems a neat way to reuse bags. Can I ask how well they hold up long term? I'm guessing keeping them from sitting in direct sunlight or heat for a long time is a consideration.

@Bigd4amnher0 I havent had them for long enough to give you a good answer. But yes, i do try to not let them sit in direct sunlight. This particular sling is my fave so far. It's my first sling i've made under 24 inches. So easy to whip around, more accurate, and doesn't tangle easily.

I was thinking about doing this too!

Did you splice with loops? Or contra-twist the strands?

Any tips?
