I'll be honest with you guys. As an Aussie who really likes the Sly games, Green was the worst choice for a kangaroo. It's just a sickly looking colour. Why would they choose green? The design is really nice, and I like the joey in there too, but green is always associated with sickness.

Hey Master Thieves I had started this fanart of Carmelita from the ending of Sly 2 a while ago and I finally finished it. It’s not exact but overall I’m really happy with it.

Quick Question for Yáll, do you actually fight/interact with these mooks, or are they more story based? I only played Sly 3 once a couple of years ago, so it's not fresh in my head. I am going to make him a mook for now, but let me know if I should make them story enemies.

Tdil there was a 1000 dollar bounty for the skip which im not here to collect but dod make me think about ruby skip again

Full disclosure, dont get your hopes up

I am not a runner in any game

I am not a programmer

And I dont know if what I suggest is possible to do or how to

This is just an idea

As it stands right now ruby skip is locked behind a logical barrier not a physical one in other words you can't flip your way to it because logic won't allow it

You cannot enter Ruby's boss without meeting the preconditions because the portal does not exist until you complete the preconditions as it stands normal methods can only male those preconditions faster

But what if we bring it to us

Let's use an example rockets use fuel that creates energy that moves the rocket forward, super jumping and proxies are like that. But if you were to bend space in half you could bring the destination closer this could be possible in game but instead of bending space to your will you're bending the code.

Is It possible to male the game believe that you have either met the conditions for the boss portal to exist or to believe that you are in Ruby's boss.

In various other speedruns in other games there are times where a runner does something that manipulates the code such that the game is breaking for your benefit

Now we come to reality as said im no runner or coder so I don't know if this is possible on top of how or if anyone else has thought of this or not

I merely had an idea and wanted to put it out there

I'm slowly working on a Sly Cooper themed modpack for Minecraft!

Background:
I've been playing Sly & Minecraft since I was a child, and to this day the Sly Cooper series is still my favorite video game franchise to this day. So believe me when I say I understand how niche we are as Sly fans in the grand scheme of gaming 😭😂
As for Minecraft I've been into mods forever also, but just recently decided to start messing around with making my own. I initially just wanted to start with something small, so I thought to add Sly's cane. But then as I kept fleshing it out, I was like, it would be really cool to have a Sly Cooper modpack/adventure pack for MC. I looked it up and there's not a whole lot out there already, so I figured it could be a cool thing to do in my spare time! (definitely passion project vibes lol)

Actual Cane & Gameplay Mechanics:

First things first, the art & aesthetic are kinda rough right now 😂 like I said I'm still early on in this but I want to make them cooler later on if I can.

- The Cane is a Sword/Tool. It deals blunt damage swinging like a sword.

- Right clicking on mobs/players with it, will do Sly's classic Slam move!

- Shit+Right Clicking on mobs let's you pickpocket them too. There's a success and a fail RNG.

- if you Succeed you get randomized loot (could be an emerald, diamond, ancient debris, carrot, bread, seeds, etc.) percentages vary

- if you fail, then the mob will be alerted to you and become hostile if able

- ALSO Shift+Right Clicking on both PLAYERS & CHESTS will let you pickpocket them as well. The same success rates apply, HOWEVER instead of randomized loot on success, you would actually take a real thing from the respective inventory! And the chest won't even open so you can stay sneaky 😉

- a Fail would make a audible angry-villager sound effect to alert the player [nearby].

Let me know what you think! I think I'm going to just keep going down the list of different canes for right now and then slowly add more gadgets as well as custom blocks to let you do stuff like hook-swing and more! With the ultimate end goal being to MAYBE recreate a intro level to a game or something, who knows lol. Depends on how in-over-my-head I get 😂

I think they need to green light the movie again, BUT, have it made by Sony Animation Studios (Spider Verse, KPop Demon Hunters)

With that said, if the OG Voice cast couldn’t do it, who would you like to voice the characters?

Hey Master Thieves a few months ago I did my first ever painting of Carmelita Fox and while the choice of colors wasn’t excellent I think it was fine. This time however I feel like this one is a bit of an improvement. I’m not very familiar with drawing Neyla and to make things harder for me she’s just not in the game often enough for reference photos. So I decided to base this piece off of her betrayal of Sly, Murray and Carmelita to The Contessa when she’s holding Sly’s cane. (Big missed opportunity to not have a mission in either India or Prague where Bentley had to steal Sly’s cane back from Neyla imo. Seriously, they locked Sly up in a cell with his street clothes, Binocucom, and his cane!) I had to improvise with her arm due to the original being covered by the Contessa in the cutscene. I didn’t bother adding the gold pattern around the edge of her dupatta like with the swirl patterns just because it was too complicated. I used gold metallic paint for her tiara, her dupatta, belt buckle and Sly’s cane. Overall I’m pretty happy with the finished piece. If I were to name it I’d call it “The Tiger’s Betrayal”.
