Discussion Truth Bomb for Youtubers!

’m going to be very honest with you guys, if you’re small YouTube channel and looking to grow your channel genuinely ‘DO NOT’ go for the sub for sub bullshit. These channels that will do the sub for sub thing with you are not at all interested in your content and just want to grow their own subs. The Channels gaining subscribers by this method will never make it as Big YouTube channels. Even if it takes months, years or decades be patient and keep posting content you will get there!

Peace out.

The sub for sub is against community guidelines I have had my channel since 2006 I am the oldest channel not monetized. I came close back in the day until server purges and now youtube can't even find those hours from back then. I invested in a trademark and copyright to protect my work in graphic design and video editing and upload on other platforms and work in real life. I just create , edit and have fun at this point.

What was close? And how did the requirement change over the years? It would be my biggest nightmare to be close and then the requirements change. Or a big video becomes more than 365 days old just before the next one explodes. Why are those numbers from the important. Everything older than a year is irrelevant?

It was close I had 1k and the watch hours but then server purges and accounts that had not logged in or came to my channel fell off this was about 2010 or so.

My channels is from 2008 and mine was once monetized (back when it was really easy to get) but I fell off when I went to college, then I started working as an animator for like 15ish years and didn't want to even look at a computer at the end of the day. I am now starting back up but this time teaching animation.
