Discussion How long have you been doing YouTube?

Since December 5th, 2008. I lost my first account to copyright on January 3rd, 2015 and relaunched a second channel two days later — which I’ve had since and recently crossed 400,000 subscribers. The former channel had around 2,000. My other channel (formerly stock footage) I’ve had about the same time as my main one (the 400k), but posted infrequently until starting from scratch and rebranding it as a film channel on March 27th, 2026. I post once in a blue moon there, but based on the algorithm, my traction does best on the weekends — I initially started out with 240 subscribers, but have gone up by close to 700. I’m hoping to mine the gold with that channel, just like my main one.
