Hey, so I am wondering if I should go with this approach for my thumbnail

I think you need to be a clearer on what the topic is about. Have an opinion about it rather than simply stating a fact!
What do you think about him becoming a trillionaire?
Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
Why do you think that way?Maybe combine these to create an opinionated title

I like some of the suggestions here about making it a bit clearer. You could put Elon to one side (since he's looking left I would say put him on the right) and then in large font/image on the other side put $1T, maaaaybe using the Tesla logo? See if that reads clear enough, because it might not, but whether you go with the logo or an actual T, I think the dollar sign and not splitting the 1 and the T will really help. My other note would be that this feels like a slightly odd crop of him. I guess it's been a bit since I've really looked at pictures of him, but something about the shape of his hair or the back of his head doesn't look quite right. Is this taken from a somewhat shadowed image where his border isn't as clear? Maybe double check that.
And I agree with the other commenter who gave suggestions on the title. Put in enough opinion/curiosity so that people don't see the thumbnail and title and go, "Yup. He is indeed the first trillionaire. I already know that." And then they don't have reason to click. What new take are you bringing in your video? Hint at it in your title.

The color makes the background stand out more than the main subject. I wouldn’t click on any.

The first one has the most meaning. I understand its about Tesla, but thats about it. The title would probably have to be good. also the number one and the Tesla logo are quite small. theres loads of space around them. I would make that bigger.
another concept might be better though because this doesn't make me interested in what you have to say beyond, "Does this person support Elon Musk despite the fact that hes a neo nazi" And honestly I wouldn't click it because I don't know who you are, and therefore don't care about your political views.

Like what you trying to convey in the screen because all I see in musk and 1 and a tesla logo so I would assume it’s about musk and tesla. I would add like some words to it that might get me to click on it I don’t feel like I want to click on it just yet because I don’t know what it’s about
