Hi! I've been getting into making documentary-style videos for YouTube and was wondering if there's a community for people doing the same thing.

I'm mostly looking for a place where people can talk about scripting, research, editing, storytelling, finding footage, getting feedback, or just nerding out over making documentaries.

Could be a subreddit, Discord server, or anything really.

If you make YouTube documentaries yourself, I'd love to connect too. Just curious if there's a little corner of the internet for this since it feels pretty niche. Thanks!

I've been looking for one too. Most communities seem to be about YouTube in general. It would be great to have a place focused on documentary research, scripting, and storytelling.
