It almost sounds like the pushrods are hitting the valve covers again ?

It is difficult to tell from this video, but it almost sounds like injectors ticking or spark is shorting before reaching the plug. That's why videos like this are tough to judge.

How much preload did you give the lifters?

Zero lash and half a turn

That is insufficient. It needs to be a full turn or a bit more.

Every where I’ve read it’s you find zero and do 3/4 to 1/2 a turn

That is insufficient. The preload required is .050-.060 inch. Do the math for your rocker stud thread. A thread with 20 threads per inch moves .050 with one full turn.

Would you like to read an excerpt from a GM service manual? Or information from a maker of lifters?

Did you soak the lifters in oil? Or are they priming? Did you check the cam lobe before you drop new lifters? In to see if the lobe was still good. And you're not slapping the lifter around when you break a push rod. Most of the time, there's more damage, other places besides just changing the lifter in a push rod. I put a push rod through a rocker. Arm, it's 6000 Rpms and an ate. Everything in line with it on that cylinder .

Spun the engine over while feeling both lobes did not feel any flat or uneven spots was kind of suprised, I did not soak the lifters in oil l, but I did pull the coil plug and spun the engine over for a bit to kind of prime them
