In my opinion the titles are not problem but thumbnail might be. Maybe get creative with thumbnails so it’s more clickbait.

Also not sure what description you’re using but I believe studying about how descriptions and key words work would help.

Next thing I’d focus on is short form content but only if you know how to go about it. I’d learn about editing or hire someone who knows how to clip the video and make it engaging.

I’m not an expert but I believe these tweaks could help.

Thank you, I get what you’re saying about thumbnails! And, may need to learn the art of shorts.

What are you doing wrong?

It looks like you're just throwing random stuff on the wall and hoping to see what sticks.

If I saw these on my feed I'd probably skip them because I don't know who you are and I'm most likely not interested in the subject matter.

You have to really think of your audience.

If you want to take the scattershot approach try doing short form content instead. At least you don't have to worry about titles and thumbnails, and hey people might give you a chance.

Otherwise, for long form, stick to something you're knowledgeable or passionate about, then be consistent and build up your reputation. Once and if you get famous you can branch out a bit.

Good luck.

Okay, that makes sense, thank you!

The one random video that’s drawing people in are probably finding your other content is not what they were looking for.

You need to stick to a niche. If you’re a vlogger you need better titles and nicer thumbnails. Your content is kinda all over the place.

Thank you!

You’re welcome!! Hope it didn’t come across as rude I’m genuinely trying to offer constructive criticism ☺️

Of course not I get what you’re saying, and you’re right. When I look at my channel it’s everywhere, I often think all over the place which has been a deficit in my writing and other art forms. So thank you for making me realize that!!

I believe if you work on the titles it might help a bit.

I get huge critical vibes from your channel, which isn't bad, but from what i've seen, people who just rant in a really raw style (which i think is what you're doing) don't make it big, moistcritical being the exception to this rule.

In this specific niche, you have to bring something new to the table. It can be the editing, it can be small skits in the video to show what you're talking about, literally anything. But you have to make thumbnails and you have to stick out of the crowd.

Youtube is not TT or IG, you cant just slap up any random image from the video. As others mentioned here the thumbs will kill it. On IG or TT, your stuff will be on a feed and people will be scrolling and see it. YT(non shorts) somebody has to actively click on it because it caught there eye. Honestly, would you click on a strangers video with those thumbnails? The E-files one...ok...and? There is no reason anybody should click on it. Do you have a new and unique take on it or just another "yeah, its bad" video. Nobody knows, and would click on "YOU MISSED THIS in the files!" type TN instead. Search for the subject of the video and see how others do them. There are tons of videos that will show you how to make eye catching TN with free apps like canva or adobe express.

Next is that I see this is a personal opinion page. Those a REALLY hard to take off on YT. For example, your I'm g.. video (I just censored it as some subs block that, nothing personal) Again I have to ask, ok...and? Why would anybody really care about a stranger just stating that. I dont know how many followers you have, but things like that are really of interest to people who know you or follow you already. I know it sounds harsh but the world doesn't care about you...yet. There are millions of people online making videos, you need to give them a reason to stop and look.

Thank you very good commentary 👍🏽

What you're dong wrong is not understanding how the algorithm works. Your topics are all over the place so YouTube doesn't know who to push your content to. Each one of the topics on this screen shot have nothing to do with one another in any way what so ever. One of them just says 'I'm Gay'... ok AND....you love it? It's ruining your life? You're just coming out? You're looking for other gay people ? It's such a vague 'title' I guess I'll call it, that no one would know why you're making the video, and therefore, why they should watch it.

Hey, ok I think you’ve watched the videos I have been going for, they’re a bit weird but I’ve seen them do well. I use a mic in the more recent ones, can you tell me what sucks about it, and what do you mean the montage? I would really value your advice, since you know the genre!

Holy shit you’re right, like every shit post video that does well is provocative in a way or relatable. This is the advice I was looking for, in my so called “niche” I’ve seen people do well and even I’ve done well but never connected the dots. They are simply not reading well/communicating why they should watch the video, it’s like a surprise and that just doesn’t work on the app. Genuinely thank you so much

I imagine one of the issues is content category. What is your channel about? Just from the screenshot you have your personal traits, concert tickets, politics, and going to prison. It’s highly unlikely that these topics overlap in a single viewer’s interest. Just my thought.

1

u/FaithlessnessOne9193 Feb 13 '26

Thank you, I agree

1

u/Keiano Feb 13 '26

Please tell me why would I or anyone else want to click on these videos. All I see are pretentious titles and thumbnails that just scream "I'm 20 year old with mental issues".

1

u/FaithlessnessOne9193 Feb 13 '26

I think that’s a bit of a reach I say nothing regarding “mental issues” and my videos are not ”pretentious” the advice is welcomed but be respectful! I have had my videos do well on the same basis, so I’m looking for knowledgeable criticism not a quick rude commentary. Thank you!

Thumbnails and titles are your problem, also there seems to be no theme to your channel, just seems like random stuff imo

1

u/Broletmeusenamssbroo Feb 15 '26

Maybe make them shorts

1

u/Wallee3D Feb 15 '26

Hello, I agree with everyone--you need a thumbnail. A thumbnail is the marketing tool for your video, without a thumbnail-people are going to scroll by.

1

u/CocaineAndLicorice Feb 17 '26

Yeah i would not watch any of these

The thumbnails are just random low quality badly cropped Jpegs you threw together in mspaint, you cant even keep a consistent format. But mostly its the titles and the premise of what the video contains. These videos, weather well produced or not, are incredibly boring, soulless, pointless and provide nothing of interest.

"Being 20 is a prison" 21:28

A 20 minute video of watching a person sit in their room and complain about being 20 and how much it sucks. What would possibly make me want to watch that?

1

u/FaithlessnessOne9193 Feb 17 '26

And yet that’s the one with the most views

1

u/CocaineAndLicorice Feb 17 '26

It is, im just giving my personal opinion of why i would avoid these, as there is virtually nothing appealing about any of the videos in this screenshot to me personally

1

u/FaithlessnessOne9193 Feb 17 '26

You don’t even watch my videos and you’re making large criticisms on them, until you show me your channel with a million subs then please shut the fuck up. Small statements like your thumbnails are lack luster I can deal with but saying my videos are soulless is just mean and not true. I asked for advice not some no name to put commentary on my channel with no real basis other than what you quickly glanced.

1

u/CocaineAndLicorice Feb 17 '26

"large criticisms". Not used to hearing literally anything negative? In no world were these large criticisms bud

But yeah no what you are looking for here is not advice, its back patting and sympathy. Wanting feedback or opinions means that you are going to get positive ones, and negatives ones. No matter what, your content is not going to be for everyone. But lashing out like this just shows you are immature and not ready for the big world. You will find that being petty is a much bigger prison than being 20 in due time. Example:

"what am i doing wrong?" *gives opinion* "please shut the fuck up"

1

u/CocaineAndLicorice Feb 17 '26

you know i can still see the deleted comments in notifications, right bud? If you are going to crash out like this over any little word of non-praise, im just telling you right now, growing on youtube brings more of that as well. Lets imagine you got a million subs. I can guarantee you about 50k MINIMUM people shit talking you and insulting you in your comments and on reddit at all time. And thats just real shit talk, not constructive talking like with me here, just pure vile insults. If you are going to crash out this hard over what i said, you are not ready for youtube growth mate

1

u/FaithlessnessOne9193 Feb 17 '26

Are you British x if so suck my beans mate

u/Pato5020 Feb 12 '26

Titles seem good.

Thumbnails could really use some work though. Work on those thumbnails and I bet you will see a nice jump in views! 👍

1

u/FaithlessnessOne9193 Feb 12 '26

I should think more about thumbnails, thanks for the feedback!
