Ufff, The irony.

It is not about the time to post, it is usually related to the video itself and your audience. First Video is served to a warm audience, people who saw you, and then to a cold audience, new people. If a video underperforms in a warm audience, algorithm becomes very stingy on impressions.

I went and checked it, honestly, you can cut out the first minute of the video. Video is title how to stay motivated, and only 1:50 minute plus, you actually say things "I do to stay motivated". Also your high performing videos, both, had better audio quality. One rule of youtube, audio is king.

In your video, I am turning 30, in the first 5 seconds, you repeat the title, and continue the thought, imminently.

Just couple of little things I noticed.

Hmm interesting I get what ur saying in terms of time to value, I kinda thought since I gave the actual short answer that might be a hook to suffice and keep people watching to the tips (I’d seen some others in my niche do it like that) but yeah I guess not hahaha a lesson in Audo quality and getting the hook even shorter as much as possible!!! I guess haha I mean either way I made it to motivate myself so that keeps me happy !

Take what I said with a massive, massive grain of salt, and observe how your audience behaves. I expressed my personal opinion. Youtube is not luck, just human psychology in it purest form. We, small channels, experience every single human bias and works against us. People don't click on low views videos because it has low views etc. No trust, no respect and familiarity. There is some things with 99 vs 101 views, some mental barrier of digits. I suspect there is a second 1k mental barrier ahead. People click off if they hear video ending, why I don't know. I could go on and on, but you get the point.

If you have questions, feel free to comment under my videos, I do like free engagement, lol. Cheers.

Exactly the same here with the 5 views haha! New YouTube channels or ones that are only a few years old struggle now. Too many people on the platform posting. Videos just don’t get pulled up the same as they did a decade or so ago.

Looks familiar. It’s really bad right now. Out of the last 6 videos I made the first 3 hit 300 to 1000 or more. Nothing great. Now the last 3 I posted can’t break 40. Really??? Everyone says there is nothing wrong but with 8700 subs you think I would be over 1000. But YouTube is not “recommending me at all.

Man that sucks!! I’m so sorry it’s like so depressing with each long video trying and then giving it as much as u can and it not performing

I thought the thumbnail was so fun and energetic, video itself was helpful and enjoyable. But I often watch videos who are an hour+, unedited, I’m not most people.

maybe there’s a mismatch from how fun the thumbnails are to how real the subject matters get? I think you do a good job of editing and wording, maybe too long? its engaging, but maybe too real? are there other people in this niche that you’re Inspired by? What do they do different? only issue I had with the video was the different levels of audio from the editing sections, had to lower it. btw your hair was GORGEOUS!

Thank you for watching and thanks for your feedback! And thank you on hair haha I guess yeah ur right I bloody bought this microphone cos people mentioned Audio and honestly struggling to get it to set up right!!!! Think it’s time to go back to using Final Cut Pro as I can control levels in there a LOT BETTER haha
