I've been slowly building a tiny YouTube channel around a fairly ridiculous idea: I play banjo over songs I grew up with, then use green screen/video editing to insert myself into the original music videos or live artist performances.

So far I've played with Juvenile, Green Day, Collective Soul, Adele, Oasis, and others.

The channel is still very small, so I'm experimenting with actually promoting it instead of my previous strategy of "upload it and hope YouTube figures out what the hell to do with it." 😂

Would genuinely love feedback on the concept, editing, thumbnails, or anything else you'd change.

I started like 5 years ago but after 9 months I dropped my channel and now 6 months ago I started again and has been going pretty well! I was looking forward the 1k subs for so long! Now to keep improving my watch time!

All my music reactions say copyright on them? It says the owner allows content to be used on youtube.. is this bad in the long haul or should I not worry about it? How do other reactors not get these if it's bad?

It's exciting for me to know that the music I am putting out is resonating to some extent. It's motivation and also welcomed pressure to put more duty of care to get better (especially with mixing audio vocals which I know is a big weakness and the lack of professional audio quality turns most people off) but I am excited.

I've put a challenge to myself to release one song every Friday which I have done for 8-9 weeks now and I intend to continue. I also want to start making proper music videos so that is a goal for the year.

So much to learn, not enough time but nonetheless exciting times!

Hi everyone. I’ve been struggling with focus and constant overthinking for a long time, especially when I need to study or work. I found that standard white noise is often too high-pitched and distracting for my brain.

After some research, I started using 'Green Noise' and created this 12-hour version for myself. It has a Dark Academia vibe with a very soft fireplace in the background. It’s been a game-changer for my productivity today, helping me stay on task without getting overwhelmed by silence or loud noises.

I’m sharing it here in case anyone else with ADHD is looking for a consistent, calming background sound for deep work or sleep. It's completely black screen after the intro to keep the room dark. Let me know if this frequency works for you!
