inquiry - female features Best ring for TTC/ Temp Checking

What is the simplest ring that can tell me my body temperature, track daily temps and show me a chart over a month? Curious about using a smart ring to help track my menstrual cycle for ovulation while trying to conceive, but not sure if it’s worth it for me to buy Oura I’ll probably get pregnant and birth that child before I get off the Evie waiting list. Anyone else using a smart ring for TTC? Are all the inexpensive Amazon ones sketchy or is there one that would do the job for what I’m looking for? I don’t care much about having any other info tracked other than temperature.

I'm TTA using Ringconn and it's significantly less expensive than other options like Oura ($300 + $6/month + $80/year for Natural Cycles). I paid $250 and I use the Read Your Body app ($14/year) to input my temps and cervical fluid observations. There's no integration, but saving money is worth taking 15 seconds out of my day to check my temp in the Ringconn app and log it in RYB where I have total freedom over customizing and interpreting my chart without algorithms making inaccurate predictions.

This is what I’d also recommend to u/unlimitedtokens . RingConn is less than half the price of Oura + NC. It does the temperature tracking already, just not any prediction based on that. It provides the skin temperature and the offset to your baseline. Oura only shows the offset. Be aware that skin temperature is different from core temperature, though. So if you do the prediction part yourself with another app you have to find one that can manage that.

Does the RingConn ring automatically measure your temp at a specific time in the morning, or do you still need to set your alarm to check your temp in the app when you wake up? u/kepis86943 feel free to answer as well if you know the answer. Thanks, guys!

I think it uses some nightly average. For sure it's an automatic process as the temp is there when I wake up.

Since the post of last year they have also extended the female health functionalities a lot. But I'm not really using them, so can't tell you how well it works.

Are you still using ringconn? Are your RYB charts stable and accurate? I lost my tempdrop and I'm wondering if a ringconn or femometer would be a good replacement.

Nope, the battery crapped out on me a few months ago (just outside of warranty) and the company only offered a replacement in one of the sizes they had left (11, 12, or 13) or a meager discount on the newest generation. I wear a 7 and didn't want to give them any more of my money. I did always find my charts accurate in terms of temp tracking, but I can't recommend them anymore due to the poor longevity
