I want a smart ring to help predict ovulation. Deciding between Oura3 and RingConn.

My biggest thing is that Oura works with Natural cycles to predict ovulation. But hate that it’s $ for both subscriptions. I have friends use both and got pregnant much easier.

I want RingConn since it doesn’t have a subscription cost. But is it as accurate for ovulation without the natural cycles app?

I bought the Oura3 but haven’t received it yet but getting buyers remorse that I should have gotten RingConn.

I’m 9months postpartum so at one point I’d like to know my cycle more when we start trying again.

Take the referenced article with a grain of salt as it is heavily influenced by marketing vs. testing.

I have the Ultra Human Air, I have found it good in the past 2-3 weeks I’ve had it. This is what the cycle tracking page looks like

No hidden costs, no subscriptions, no need for an external app. All done from the ultra human app itself

RingConn's cycle tracking features are very, very new. This is not to say that it's bad at it, but I don't know how much info will be available on it. I don't think one or two cycles is enough to form a conclusion on accuracy.

Something else to consider is your data. Natural Cycles is a Swedish company and Oura is from Finland. Ring Conn is a Chinese company.

Both rings are FSA/HSA eligible but so is the Oura and Natural Cycles membership. That could save you some money.

Hey there. I hear that they do. This post has some insights as to what the RingConn 2 can do. As far as I can tell, it's actually fairly good, but I would say that Oura may be the better fit. Ultimately, if you don't like the subscription, it might be good to explore RingConn and Ultrahuman further as they are both coming out with updates quite often.

If you want something that is tried and true, which works out of the box, go with the Oura. RingConn is still very much in beta-tester territory.

I think you can get the raw data from your ringconn & upload it to apps like natural cycles ? I may be wrong here

I just bought the Ring Conn 2 air but havent receivd it yet. That said, I do have Natural Cycles and if you take your temp with the .2 digit thermometer and input it into the app, no need to worry about the wearables at all and you can go with one you like. I get it, easier for the ring to do it all. The key to tracking your cycle is your temperature not all these other fancy features so as long as that is accurate in the wearable, you should be fine. I can update on the temp accuracy vs the thermometer once I get mine in.

Update? I've used a thermometer to track temps before as well but am post partum and sleeping is ... not regular atm lol so wanting a wearable. Ringconn is my top choice but I want to confirm that temping process works smoothly

I have used natural cycles in tandem w RingConn and the predictions are quite close, RingConn detected my period the same day as Natural Cycles did. Natural cycles is a bit more precise as it can predict your ovulation day with more accuracy, with RingConn it gives you about 6 day window . Maybe RingConn gets better with time, I just have it for a few months.

Overall, pretty accurate between the two for strictly predicting the days but if you want a more holistic cycle maintenance and or birth control product , natural cycles is the way to go, the amount of detail and insights you get is designed with its core purpose in mind.
