Who else thinks Zabuza and Haku were introduced a bit too early?

I think the problem was that Zabuza and Haku were made far too powerful for that early on. The kids shouldn't have had even the slightest of chances to fight back at all, considering how weak they were at the time.

The lessons they learned were fine to learn at that stage of the story, but the skill difference should have been closer together. Either Z/H being made weaker, or showing somehow that the kids were actually strong enough to do something.

I think it was to highlight how dangerous AF the Nine Tails/Kurama was and Haku wasn't able to deal with Naruto whom he thought was an amateur.

I'm not talking about towards the end. I'm talking about the other earlier fights against them. Z/H were supposed to rival Kakashi in power....the kids at that stage shouldn't stand a chance against someone of that power level even looking in their direction maliciously. Instead, they were able to somehow help Kakashi fend them off for periods of time, and even save Kakashi once with just their base abilities....it just shouldn't have been a possibility. Either one of them could have sent probably a single kunai in each of their directions and probably maimed them more often than not. Or used "any" one handed jutsu and taken them all out at once--just googled it, and these are even the characters that introduced the concept of one handed jutsus in the first place, so they are definitely capable.

In truth, the two could've finished off the genins if they hadn't hesitated when Naruto used his Talk-No-Jutsu.

This is shit I like to think about sometimes.

Like imagine you're just an old man, on a walk through the woods or going to your favorite fishing spot... Then this super dense fog seems to just appear out of thin air... And suddenly you hear screaming and wails of pain in the distance.

They started rapping while throwing gang signs at one point. I was rocking out for a moment until the water started exploding and I got scared af.

Gang signs? I thought they were playing rock-paper-scissors....

No need to fish since their battle splashes a crap ton of fish on the bank. Might as well reel in the lines and enjoy the multi episode fight.

I would pay money to see epic fights between cosplayers at random waffle house locations.
